How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The smell in the room near the bathroom. The breakfast was quite poor.

Facilities are not brand new but it was clean.
perfect location in a real local neighbourhood, calm, green, exceptional for Paris. Very friendly and helpful staff. Famous Paris cafes around, local market, you cannot get better way to experience Paris.

the lobby was freezing as door wasn’t working since we arrive 4 days ago. also bar was closed entire time. shower tile needs regrouting. sink was plugged.

The room was clean but has seen better days, cracked tile in the bathroom and rust around the taps, sliding doors on the wardrobe were stuck. No fridge or kettle provided. The kids alcove is in the hallway.
The hotel is in a great central location, but very quiet and private. Great to find a family room where you can put the kids to bed in a separate area.

Great location - easy access to public transportation and walking distance to many sites. We also appreciated the extra bedroom space for our child.

Wonderful expercience in my old neighbourhood of Rue Delambre, where i lived for several years. Very comfartable, clean and spacious room for a very reasonable price. Friendly staff and nice courtyard which protects you from the noisy street. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

not sure if air conditioning worked but we were only there 2 nights and weather wasn’t too hot so not a problem for us. if it had been then I’m sure staff would have sorted it for us. bathroom could have been cleaner , some mould/build up in the grout in the shower.
room was very spacious, in a nice area, lots of bars restaurants etc so feels safe at night. good connections to the metro to travel around Paris too. staff were very friendly at the front desk

Hotel looks old and feels like it should be renovated.
The location is great! The price as well. The hotel in general needs some renovation because all furniture looks old and it feels tired. But as I said for these money it's absolutely okay. Everything was clean and tidy. The stuff is super friendly.

That's not a problem per se but you need to know if you come with a car that the parking house is very narrow and tight. So if you have mid-class sedan (or bigger) like a BMW 5 series or Audi A6, it is tough to park, but not impossible. Maybe a small adjustment of the parking way in the park house would make it easier for bigger cars.
The closeness of the hotel to the center is great. Accessed many places by walking and the metro and bus stations are also very close if you need them.

The over-bath shower was a bit of a safety issue as the bath was narrow and deep. It needed care when using so as not to overbalance and slip
Comfortable, quiet and clean. Near to the Metro, good restaurants nearby.

Parking is too small - even with sedan it was very difficult to maneuvr inside
Check-in was so simple, bar is nice with TV and football World Cup on it, location is only half hour walk from Notre Dame de Paris and Louvre, near by lot of restaurant

The only aspect that was disappointing was that there was no coffee/Tea maker in the room which I would have expected for a 3 star hotel
Good central location, easy access using the train from CDG Airport and easy access to central paris using the Metro which is only a couple of minutes from the hotel. Lovely relaxing outdoor area and the staff on arrival were lovely allowing us to leave out luggage until check in time . The room was spacious, larger that I expected for Paris

Room colour and view from bedroom. Maybe put some shampoo in!
Location was brilliant. There are a few restaurants nearby which were lovely! It had everything you needed. Great time for check out and the train to CDG is a ten minute walk away.
