There was a kettle in the room so we could make our own tea! WIN! And there was a fan, so we could stay cool at night in the lovely heat of Alsace. Our host was very nice and helpful and could speak French, German and English! The breakfast was delicious, and all locally sourced and you could buy most of the jams and 'nutella' from reception if you wanted as well. Lovely beer to be had on the terrace outside under the grapevine. Honestly - gorgeous. The whole town and hotel felt like a genuine Alsace village, not touristy really and that made it even better - like we had stumbled upon something secret and brilliant.

Return visit. If anything the service has improved. Very friendly welcome. Nice family run residence. There is no doubt that we shall return yet again.

Although this village is on the Wine Route is was a none tourist village with only one restaurant and nothing to see or do in the evening. (next village wasn't much livelier)

Traditional French style hotel, clean, tidy and pretty. Nice friendly host serving a good breakfast. very quiet location.
