it is rated as a 4 star hotel, however, it is not more than a 3 star. The furniture in the hotel room is old, not very comfortable and does not meet expectations of a 4 star hotel! The TV screen is not bigger than a small computer screen, not at all adequate for the rating of the hotel!

great location close to the beach, big swimming pool, wonderful garden, very quiet, close to Portoferrario, only about 15 minutes by car, excellent food at the restaurant. The parking is shaded, very comfortable in the heat. The beach is small and consists of pebble stones, there are sufficient sun beds for everybody.

We did not have lunch at the hotel however as we had paid for half board we ate dinner there. The food was really poor and not up to the standard we had expected or paid for and I would definitely not recommend it. Also the lighting in the dining room was not very subtle - too much bright, overhead light - but even if it had been, the food was still not great.

The swimming pool and private hotel section of the beach were really lovely, and the poolside bar was great, with very nice, friendly staff. Breakfast was good too.

It is a quiet location with a short drive to a variety of beaches and towns. The pool and hydro massage are great for a post-breakfast dip before venturing to the island spots

soundproofing in the rooms needs improving, difficult to sleep past 7am without earplugs. in order to eat dinner you had to have 4 courses.

Bed was stiff. Pretty "old" building and facilities. Definitely not new or fancy. Would rate it closer to a 3 star.

I loved the pool. Swim lanes. If you're a swimmer, go. 25m pool on the edge of the water. Very salty pool. We got an end room with a patio. Had a dry rack for our beach clothes.

The breakfast was outside due to Corona I guess but the team was understaffed to clean the tables and set them up for new guests on time. Then they ran out of eggs multiple times and people had to wait quite long. This entire process must be optimized to provide a better and faster service to cranky customers that just got out of bed.

Loved the location and the pool area. The hotel is charming and has everything one needs.

T Staff were a bit moody apart from the lady who did our room (she was very friendly) beds extremely uncomfortable. Had a room above the reception. First morning someone watered the plants with a tractor at 6am, we consequently got a whiff of petrol every few minutes inside the room. Booked dinner for one night, had to take a 3-course menu. Bit unnecessary when you just want to eat something small in August 😂. Plastic everywhere. Plastic cups wrapped in plastic in the bathroom. For what? It’s 2023. A glass or a normal cup would do. The beach is a tiny pebble spot with boats etc. Never hung out at the beach or the pool.

The staff were warm, but inefficient. It was hard to get help when it was needed and things were disorganized. The room was way too loud.

The beach is small and covered with seagrass. The towels are at extra costs. No toilet at beach and pool area- need to go to the main building. The whole impression is that the facilities are old and do not meet 4 star rates. The place is rather remote and having a car at disposal is highly recommended. We booked a room with a see view and got a room with one narrow glass door. A bigger window would make a difference. The rooms were poorly equipped- didn't get a feeling that we are at 4 star hotel.

The hotel is offering a nice dinner that we enjoyed. The territory is small but well-maintained. The place itself is very quiet. Staff is well organised and doing its job very good. Nice toiletries in the room and beautiful view from the window.

The window in the room was very small and the advertised view was not there (view of the roof) Noise cancellation innexistant you can hear everything going on in neighbouring rooms and hall, the staff was quite cold, I felt unwelcome
