The decor needs updating especially the bathrooms. There was a smell of drains in the ground floor room and the shower leaked in the other room.

It was authentic and the staff were very good but we felt it was equally understaffed but maybe that was the time of year. Reception staff were particularly good.

The cleanliness of our room, could have been better. Although the breakfast was good, it was the same everyday. A selection of fruit, yogurt and other healthy options would have made it perfect.

We choose this hotel to be in a quieter area of the city, the only inconvenience is that you need a taxi each time you want to go out. Beautiful gardens, lovely setup by the pool and we were upgraded to a lovely room which was massive. Breakfast and lunch served outside by the pool was an added bonus as we had warm weather throughout our stay. Very friendly and helpful staff and a special shout out to Hamid, our polite, helpful and safe taxi driver.

The gym needs an update as most of the machines are not functional. Also some problems with the hot water as they turned it down. After communicating this 3 times this was fixed.

we loved our stay at palais mehdi, Sofia and her team were great and the hotel grounds were so beautiful and peaceful! The team helped us book Desert excursions which were really fun too. Only a short 15 min taxi ride from the Medina meant you had the best of both worlds. Breakfast was cooked to order every morning too! We will 100% be returning

Some of the food and (mostly) drinks were overpriced in my opinion. I questioned the price tag - 90 dirham (€9) - for a small bottle of Moroccan beer (Casablanca) when other places charge 50-60. Lunch at the property was delicious however!

The only think I felt that could improve was the variety of breakfast, I felt we ate the same breakfast everyday. The pricing of the meals/ drinks was very expensive e.g toothpaste was €10

The gym was very basic and could do with a refurbishment.

The gardens are beautiful and our rooms looked out on the gardens which makes it a lovely place to sit and read, or enjoy early evening drinks. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Each morning they suggested great activities for us and took care of arranging all the details. They managed to book us into fantastic restaurants each evening and provide private transport there and back. They made us feel very special.

The staff were incredibly friendly; particularly Sofia and Mahdi. They checked in with us daily to ensure we were enjoying ourselves and to see if we needed anything. I’ve never stayed somewhere where I’ve received such a warm welcome, we felt truly at home and treated very specially.

There is just one thing that can be improved. The shower, while being spacious, was quite outdated, and water was flowing very unevenly...one minor flaw that can be fixed in no time!

The Palace is just a gem and the service is truly 5 star. If you're looking for an intimate while spacious stay outside the chaotic Medina, look no further! We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon.

Well, coming from Europe where we have various choice of breakfast, the breakfast was mainly based on carb with no eggs or cereal, or porridge. it was all various kind of bread, cakes, and flat bread, croissant and then more cakes, tea, coffee and chocolate also available but would have preferred if eggs or other nutrient was added, we stayed for 4 nights, it was okay the first day but started getting really boring the second and third morning eating the same set of food for 4 morning in a roll, you have choice of buying egg base food as extra but they ran out of that too. As expected there are few issues of language barrier.

The environment is fantastic and clean, it has green, gardens, swimming pool that was clean everyday, the staff are nice, transportation network is also very good, above all it was a safe environment with no stress. I enjoy the Moroccan steam room and the massage. It was a fantastic experience.

The manicured gardens, large pool area, palace interiors and suite decor are exceptional. Like a green garden oasis. A welcome contrast to staying in the Medina. The staff were all very professional and welcoming. Our lunch was good, wifi in room good & beautiful Moroccan decor & furnishings with contemporary twist.

Very peaceful. Staff very friendly and cannot do enough. Beautiful pool (although was on the cool side!) breakfast was amazing and the beef tagine was unbelievable. Rooms exceptionally clean. I loved the character and artwork throughout the buildings. A real palace :)
