The beds were comfortable but seemed smaller than double beds offered by other hotel chains. The bathroom could have been cleaner. Main issue was the mildew on the bottom of the shower curtain. I wouldn't have that shower curtain in my house if I had company staying over.

The staff and free breakfast was nice. They are updating the hotel so it should be nice soon. The location was convenient to colonial Williamsburg and busch gardens.

The shower drain was full of hair and kept the water from draining. The toiletries left by the hotel were so tiny that we didn't use them. The shampoo was enough for people with short hair. If you have long hair and like to shampoo it twice, bring your own shampoo. The bar of soap was a joke as it didn't lather well and was so small that it was useless as a cleansing agent.

Don't let the outside appearance scare you. The hotel looks old and dirty; however, the inside was quite a surprise. Renovations are being made and everything was new and clean. The staff was excellent and Max was extremely helpful. The bedrroom was clean and had a refrigerator as well as a microwave. The bathroom sink was in the foyer and the shower and toilet were in a separate room. We looked for a blow-dryer and found it in a cubby under the microwave and we were satisfied with the room as we were only staying for one night. Breakfast was plentiful with cereals, pancakes, eggs, toast, potatoes, and sausages. The breakfast did not include waffles and the coffee was delicious.

I could hear traffic from my room during the night because it’s right beside the road, beds are a little small for the double room, hotel is under construction so only one elevator was working making us have to walk a Country mile to our room, but all in all that wouldn’t deter me from staying again

It was being renovated so the look and cleanliness was a little dire. Lots of plastic sheeting, I was waiting for a Dexter appearance. Hard floor in the room was different, I didn't like it, I think. Bed was soft and I'm still dealing with some twinges in the lower back. Overall reasonable.

There is a 50$ security deposit that is charged aside from the amount for the room itself. It is refundable but there is nothing that states there is an additional $50 charge. The receptionist even stated that it is not posted on booking.com or their website either but that it is due upon arrival for your reservation.

Being watched while we tried to eat breakfast. The breakfast was cold and the food was stuck to the pans the pancakes were super dry couldn’t even get them out the pan. The beds made a ton of noise and the pillows felt like bricks.

The shower was cold water. When we told the front desk person, she said it had to run for 15-30 minutes before it would warm up !!!!! What a waste of water, then it only got warm enough to use, but not great.

The closeness of being near to Busch Gardens; which is why we stayed there. The room was big enough, clean enough. There were hardly any stations on the TV to watch..

Rooms could definitely be remodeled

Location is great for a Busch gardens trip. Just 5 minutes away. It does have a buffet style breakfast. Nothing fancy just pancakes, eggs, sausage, cereal, toast, juice. The hotel is a bit outdated but it is well kept. Would stay again.
