The room we stayed in was handicapped accessible with roll in shower and was excellent except for one thing. The commode was NOT handicapped accessible and needs to be change to a handicapped accessible one. But we made due.

The staff was fantastic. Location was great and was in walking distance to all things food and the beauty of the city of downtown Savannah.

Happy hour appetizers were not preferred. Sofa bed was quite uncomfortable.

Parking was not terribly convenient but staff was accommodating. By the time we got to the last half hour of breakfast, a lot of the food was gone and not replenished, bread items in particular.

It was great that breakfast was included. The location was very good.

When asking the front desk what their sheets are made of I wasn’t given an answer. They were so satiny soft. I would love to order the same material at home.

Room Category: I booked a King Suite. When I arrived I checked in and when I went to my room, the inside of the windows were dripping wet with moisture. I asked the housekeeping person in the next room and she said in some rooms that happens. The room was so humid and all I could think about was the mold that was probably lurking in that room with day after day having so much moisture. Unfortunately, the windows do not open so there was no chance of any fresh air other than the AC. I asked for a different room and I was given a Queen Suite (2 beds) as there were not any Kings clean at that time - although I would have waited. The room was such a disappointment. The King had a nice corner kitchen with a bar and bar stools. The Queen had an outdated kitchen that was simply a part of the wall in the room. The plus of the room was that it had new carpet. But the rest of the room was in serious need of renovation (peeling ceiling in the bathroom, outdated and grungy appliances. Before I even went to the Queen room I mentioned to the Assistant Manager who checked me in that I would like an adjustment as the Queen room is a lower price than the King (at least that is what I saw on Booking.com). She didn't really answer me but I assumed (my mistake) that she would make an adjustment - not just for the difference in a King Suite vs. a Queen Double Suite, but the quality of the layout, etc., etc. of the Queen was a major downgrade. Room Comfort: I slept really well as the bed was super comfortable. But the room was lacking ventilation and the only air was from the AC which blew over the bed. In the morning, the windows in this room were also dripping with moisture - due to the lack of ventilation in my opinion. Not to mention the mold that may be a problem. Room Downgrade Adjustment: When I checked out, the invoice showed no adjustment and I was not surprised. I said nothing as the fact that she made no adjustment, said it all.

Location is excellent! The common areas of the hotel are well maintained and inviting. I did not eat the Breakfast as I tried out one of the cute Cafes in the neighborhood but I did look at the Buffet and it was very nicely prepared.

The bathroom could do with being updated but wasn't an issue all was in working order just a little tired.

The location of the hotel was perfect to access the busy River street, also the free breakfast and laundry room were a big plus for me. The suite its self was always clean and had everything i needed for a 2 week business trip.

Room privacy was horrible- outside window was busy sidewalk and street. Was told had “city view” but with blinds open all walkers and car traffic could see in our ground floor room. Bed was most uncomfortable- big sinkhole in middle and lumpy as well as pillows.

Very good breakfast- variety and taste. Great location for walking in historic district and river walk.
