“Couple with 1 month old baby, using cottage as a home stay to explore the Cotwolds.
The owner, Debbie, clearly enjoys renting the cottage out to guests, and has paid attention to little details that show her care and consideration. Being November, the house was already warm on arrival, and the welcome hamper, well stocked kitchen and bathroom and cosy decor throughout meant that we felt at home immediately. The garden was green and idyllic and we would have enjoyed making use of it were it not winter.
Highly recommend as a base from which to explore the Cotwolds - 20-30mins drive from Stow on the Wold, Broadway and Daylesford, or 40mins drive from Bibury, and close to many rural walks.
Would happily stay here again.”
“Rose (the landlady) could not do enough for us. Tea and cake on arrival, a farm tour, use of an OS map and much more; great local knowledge. Breakfasts were excellent and even provided plates etc to have our own takeaway. The OS map was particulary useful as the standard OS maps have the farm in corners of at least two landrangers. All in all a lovely base to explore this part of the Cotswolds.”
