    “The location was up a quiet lane surrounded by lovely woodland and fields. The house is beautiful 1920’s home with large rooms and lots of light The decor is traditional yet minimal to give a modern feel. The bedroom was big enough with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was modern yet with a roll top bath. The bathroom was across the hall but private with dressing gowns provided so no problem to us at all. We received good communication and a lovely welcome with offers of tea and scones. We enjoyed a walk through the grounds after our delicious breakfast.”

    “The location is fantastic, close to all amenities. It is also ideally situated to visit other attractions nearby eg Tarr Steps, Lynton and Lynmouth, Valley of the Rocks etc. The hosts were superb - very friendly and accommodating. Food scores 10/10! It was delicious and homemade. Bedrooms - tv (small), clean linen, good sized bathroom, hairdryer available plus enough drawers and a wardrobe. Wi-fi available. Lovely atmosphere - we often all chatted at mealtimes, although there is no pressure to if you wish for some time on your own. I would thoroughly recommend the hotel.”
