    Nice friendly staff, Good food and very clean room with a shower. The village has no shops so realise that before booking., but very close to Donnington Park race track. Waiter service only for bar drinks which I found a little strange. Only stopped the one night but would recommend .

    Great location with walks and bike rides on the door step.

    Great location with walks and bike rides on the door step. Walks - you would be able to walk a dog off lead on 70% of the tram walk. Graveled bike paths. I ate at the Staff of life- fresh and tasty

    This is very much luxury glamping, the owners Kerry and Rupert have thought of everything. The bell tents are clean, cozy and comfortable, we all slept like babies. The site is peaceful and tech free, just what the doctor ordered ! Great walks to some lovely little pubs in the near by villages, we recommend the Checkers pub & the Milking Shed for great real ales and stone baked pizza 😊, Calke Abbey is also in walking distance if you enjoy walking which we do.

    Really cosy country pub in beautiful Derbyshire countryside. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful and the room was spacious and very clean. Good choice of tasty pub food and exceptionally well kept real ale.
