Lovely small property in the centre of Kendal.

The kitchenette/living area would have been a bit cramped for 4 people. The property is on 3 floors. The stairs are narrow and might be awkward for those with mobility issues. Neither of the above were a problem for our stay.

A cosy well-appointed cottage just off Stricklandgate. It's not very big but was perfect for me and my brother-in-law who were walking the Dales Way with our Ramblers group. We had a bedroom and a bathroom each which was perfect. Plenty of hot water and an efficient heating system. M&S food hall was 2 minutes in one direction and Booths right opposite. The property provides a parking permit for the Library Road car park.

    Nothing everything was fantastic

Beautiful little cottage very clean and tidy and they supply everything you need. The milk and biscuits are a a really nice gesture. Also the hosts supply a parking permit (you will need this) and the car park is literally a one minute walk away. I would definitely recommend and I would stay again

The shower next to the main bathroom possibly needs updating .

Very comfortable accommodation for a family of four for a short break. Accommodation is spread out over 3 floors Our teenager children had space to themselves, with a private shower room. Everything was neat and tidy, suitable for our needs and centrally located in Kendal.

Fantastic find in Kendal. Right in the centre of Kendal so great for walking to pubs and restaurants in the evening. The house is really well equipped with everything we needed to prepare food and relax in the evenings. The rooms are really comfortable and the whole house is finished to a high standard. The host supplied a parking permit which was really useful as car parking can be tricky. Hosts were easy to contact and really helpful. Highly recommended. Thanks for the stay!

Car parking in 10minutes walk away- library carpark. While there is 2 carparks right outside the cottage that you aren't allowed to use. Fireplace fire isn't usable. Privacy lack of through windows annoyed the wife. Occasionally noise in the morning.

Central location to kendal is nice. Cosy cottage vibes 2 toilet/shower/bathrooms was good. Kitchen was good too.

Our friends complained about the poor comfort of their 2 single beds on the top floor but we found our double bed OK. No dishwasher in the kitchen but very small kitchen so probably not possible to fit one in. We had 2 cars so one of us had to pay the daily parking charge at the car park round the corner. A little difficult to find when first arriving.

Excellent location for accessing the town's shops, pubs and restaurants. No need to drive anywhere. Excellent power of the showers in the bathrooms. Nice welcome with milk in the fridge, teabags etc and some local biscuits and confectionery.

Although space is limited personally I’d rather have a dishwasher than a washing machine. That and the low ceiling without any warning at the bottom of the stairs (yes I hit my head - hard)

Location and cleanliness were exceptional. The inclusion of a parking permit for use around the lakes was a great touch. Although Kendal is not what it used to be as a destination, you couldn’t ask for a better location to base yourself for travelling around.

There was no negatives at all.

The cottage was a wonderful place to stay, right in the heart of Kendal. Facilities were second to none. There was everything you needed for a comfortable stay.Everything was immaculate, the bedding was lovely,a very warm & cosy cottage. Sean & Donna were exceptionally helpful,we only had to ask for a slip mat for the shower and Donna brought one the next day. The car park pass was great,no problem parking wherever you went. I was concerned before we went as the advert does not show handrails on the staircase, when we arrived they had been fitted, also grab rails in the bath/shower. Would not hesitate to recommend the cottage to anyone wanting to visit the Lakes. We will definitely visit again in the future. Thankyou Both Jane & Jim Howarth (Cheshire) 😘

Directions to the property. GPS takes you to Booth's parking lot, and provided directions were hard to follow. Figured it out in the end though. Living area a little tight, but we spent most of our time out and about.

Central location, close to amenities, roomy rooms. Although no parking outside the property, parking was provided in nearby parking lot (which is close enough). Well kitted property. Forgot the streaming box at home, but there is a smart TV with the necessary apps. Speedy internet connection. Very clean, very comfortable beds.
