A little run down but for what we paid we couldn’t grumble and it was only for 1 night. Hand wash and toilet rolls weren’t stocked up before arrival though so had to go and purchase.

It would have been great if we had a hair dryer.

It was beautiful to wake up to the sound of birds. The owner was helpful — they answered the phone and gave us directions when we were nearby but couldn’t find the house. The house was clean and well prepared, with enough kitchen equipment. Having three bedrooms was a nice bonus.

Location slightly inaccessible without a car

The cottage was comfortable and had all the amenities I needed. It was in a quiet location away from town which is great if you have a car.

Basically the only thing I missed in the accommodation was a hairdryer so it really means that it's well equipped for every needs.

The cottage is located in the cute Tolroy Holiday Village, accessible both by car and public transport. It has actually everything you'd need either for a quick place to spend the night (as we did), but even suitable for some longer stay. The host was very flexible and kind, really caring for all the needs of the guests. Also, the property is self check-in besides the booking website witch offers unlimited flexibility. Totally recommend it!

Everything you needed supplied including linen, towels, essentials for cleaning and hot drinks etc and all very very clean. One of the guests left an expensive jewellery item behind and the host took time and money to post it back to us as we lived so far away. Couldn’t have asked for more. Will be returning here when in the area again.

Property had not been looked after one bed not made up with bottom sheet lightbulb and sockets not working and tv / not working all reported to owner who said would report back to booking .com directions and wrong code sent by booking .com

I don't know if that's a norm there but toilet floor was completely dirty, we had bugs and dead bugs in few places on toilet floor and on shower floor, we needed to use towels as touching floor with bare feets was not an option. My fiancée really wanted to leave when we found that bedding set wasn't washed as we could smell previous people's and their cosmetics, also on two of three rooms beds we found hairs and you can only imagine type of those hairs. Other small bits are: rubbish in bin on our arrival (if previous guests throw something they would not like others to see well it would be there), and for last wrong location on booking.com as address would send you to place 5min away and then there is no way finding it therefore you need to call host. I really wanted to call host to ask for at least 50% refund but I then I would be asked not to post this review and this problem needs to be sorted.

Good location, and it's a small house instead of hotel room, friendly host (at least before writing this review) and you have a smart TV if you want to watch something in living room.

Absolutely fantastic holiday home. Spotlessly clean. Everything that you could possibly need for your stay was provided. Ideal location in a lovely holiday home park. I nearly didn’t want to write a review as I wanted to keep this absolute gem to myself so it’s not booked out when I want to rebook. But it’s too good not to share and probably one of the best places I’ve stayed. Ideal for families , couples, friends etc. you won’t be disappointed.
