Three beds creaked a lot.

They didn't do breakfast which we were very dissapointed.

The bathroom was big but had an old smell about it, wasn’t too pleasant. I also didn’t like the thin toilet paper and the toiletries were awful. If they spent 20p on a roll of Andrex and 20p on unrefillerable toiletries I would have been happier. That wouldn’t bite into their profits and would be a lot better for the customer.

The location wasn’t too far from the town and it has free parking which is a bonus.

There was not a strong enough shower & hot water was sporadic. The rooms are in an annexe at the back with a cramped slightly damp smelling staircase to access our room, but once inside our room it was fine. It seemed expensive for what it was, but Shrewsbury is generally expensive to stay in. Would look elsewhere before booking again.

It is in a good location to walk the 15 mins into the main centre, where parking isn't easy. The room was warm, well furnished & had 2 armchairs which made it a bit squashed but was worth it for the comfort. Plenty of drawers etc. It was quite quiet considering it's on a main access road. There were good cheap pubs with nice basic food nearby. The bathroom was a reasonable size.

hallway up to the room had an unpleasant smell. otherwise, perfectly fine

was only there for one night and spent very little time in the room - welcoming on arrival and suited us perfectly for what we needed. bathroom was a nice size.

Sadly when we stayed the weather was -2 in the night and the heating had turned off by the time we got back at 11.30pm. It was so so cold with no option of putting the radiator back on.

The host was most hospitable with accommodating us with a down stairs room. Very friendly and ideal location.

Chairs and mattress are standard fare for a budget hotel. Not bad but I've had better. However I slept very well so it's no real issue.

Location in the city, 15 mins walk from centre. Nice friendly staff, had a peaceful sleep in a reasonably comfy room. Convenient parking.

The bedroom area was small and compact and it was a pity that breakfast was not available.

The bathroom was spacious and airy and the complimentary tea, coffee, etc was replenished every day. The free off road parking was a bonus as was the location which is very good for getting into Shrewsbury town centre.

As breakfast provision no longer available the nearest deli or cafe were a fair distance away.

Room and en-suite clean. Easy parking at rear. Within Walking distance of main town facilities and taxi’s easily available if required.

The Road was a little noisy (No fault of the GH). With no food, slightly easier to prepare food in the room.

Very dated and room smelt of cigarettes- because it was directly over ‘smokers corner’. If we were staying longer we would have asked to be moved to an alternative room.

The double bed was lovely and comfortable, but it had a creaky headboard.

The decor was a little tired. Furniture and bedding needs updating and redecoration as well.

It was very clean. Good location. Plenty of parking. Lucky to book the rooms as we had cancelled the camping as very bad weather promised.

The noise from roads nearby was unbelievable when the windows were open. It was hot. Closed windows eventually which made it tolerable.
