The bed was way too soft. The bathroom was a little too cosy. There is not much room for privacy. I didn't realise how steep the front steps were.

The location was good. The mini fridge was handy. The tea tray was great. You don't see hot choc and biscuits usually.

Mattress was too soft and pillows quite hard. A small shelf would be a good addition. Shower was not strong enough.

Property was scrupulously clean with a nice supply of tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc. really liked being able to use the kitchenette.

Nice little room with all the basics covered. The check in process was simple and clearly communicated. Good location right opposite the train station. It was handy that there were lockers for luggage store (although this was a non-refundable charge of £1 per key use!)

There is only a narrow stair to go up and down that is quite troublesome when carrying big luggage.

Close to train station. Spacious and clean room.

Pretty basic accommodation. No staff on site.

Located a minute's walk from the station. Clean. Have lockers available to leave luggage after you check out, which was very useful for me.

The shower is tiny, so if you feel you need more space, it might be a problem

It was better than we expected from the photos. The room was cozy, the bed was comfy (the mattress might be too soft for some people). The room was warm.

Great amenities - all the usual ones but also including a selection of plug sockets so no need to use a travel adaptor and a clothes drier in the kitchen. Fresh drinking water is chilled in the fridge.

It was a bit noisy outside one night. The shower worked well, the water was hot but not very intense.

It was really useful that this guesthouse has a luggage lockers that you can use before and after your stay. I also like that it's easy to check yourself.

The bathroom is really tiny, although manageable for two days as a couple, and the shower works in a way that is a bit weird (the water is hot though).

The guest house is situated just in front of the railway station and within a short walking distance from the waterfront and the town centre. The room has more furniture than it initially appears thanks to clever solutions such as a folding mini table, and overall is enough comfortable for a weekend stay. Despite the November weather, it wasn't cold inside and heating is on. Coffee/tea/chocolate bags and filtered water were a nice feature too.

A small little room with everything we needed. Great location across the road from the train station. We were in room 2 and it was very quiet and we slept well. A short walk into the center of town. Had a great meal at the White Horse Pub!

Room is on the small side but a good bed and facilities, lots of stairs to front door then room.

Easy check in after a long day on out way back from Belgium. comfy bed and cold filtered water in the fridge, compact but very clean bathroom, better than a generic cheap hotel. Was pretty much as described and right next to the station for anyone traveling on public transport.

The lockers where you can leave your luggage before check-in/after check out are for an additional fee, and there's a limited time that you can store it.

Very good location - right in front of the train station, around 10 minutes walk to the city center. Automatic check in was smooth and easy. The room was clean and comfortable, and we had welcome tea, coffee and drinking water:) good relation quality - price.
