This particular room was cramped and quite claustrophobic. And the shower kept running cold, I suspect because someone else was showering in the building and the water heater couldn't cope. Usually this is my go-to London overnighter but I may reconsider.

As always, this is a great budget option for an overnight in London. It's no frills but the room I got this time there really wasn't room to swing the proverbial cat. The single bed was wedged into such a tight space (between front wall and bathroom, which took a huge chunk of limited space) it was actually hard to get in and out of it.

The bed and the room felt like a dorm room.

The shower was nice and there was a fridge. It was in a good location that was convenient.

cleaning was not satisfactory. There was hair in the shower and on the bed. spots on carpet. The room they gave me was in pearl hotel which is their sister propety, but it was advertiesed as a room in sapphire hotel.

location and price was suitable for me. proper heating. I left my luggage after check out to explore london and they kept it safe for me till i collected it before my train journey. some basic cleaning done regularly - taking trash out and fresh towels.

Very long walk upstairs, ceiling did leak during heavy rain but we were offered an alternative room.

Bed was comfortable, facilities were lovely and clean, tea/coffee station and toiletries were provided, TV in room and staff very friendly.

-Wifi was very slow. -There is no lift/elevator, so not good if you were given a top floor and you brought luggages. -Staff went straight in our room in the morning. I understand housekeeping, but they could've provided us a sign we could hang on the door if we needed one or not (like other hotels do). Good thing we were already up and dressed.

-Location was perfect for our purpose. Right at the center of the city. -Checking in was fast and the staff was friendly.

Been given a room with a hole in the roof when I told them in advance I was already unwell , and def Doesn't worth £60 for the night when you have to double covert yourself as can't feel the effect of the heater...but otherwise ok if its wasn't for thats is no complaints.

The customer service was accommodating & excellent , really close to transports,easy commute.

Expecting to be in sapphire hotel but was given room in sister hotel Pearl. People above us were walking on creaking floor boards, banging about from 1 am to 3am. Only stopped when their door went and they went out. Didn't get a good night sleep

Some of the furnishings could have been in better condition. The chair in my room was damaged and had exposed metal parts that would stab into me if I leaned on it in slightly the wrong position. It was also noted that the furnishings in the bathroom could have been cleaner.

The location of the hotel was convenient for the purpose of my visit. The checking process was quick and easy and I was able to leave my bags on the day of departure, before collecting them in the evening.

Rooms need more investment in being soundproof . Being located on a highway type of road i could hear constant car noises throughout the night . The voices coming from my neighboors were quite distinct as well. i recommend getting ear plugs if you are as exposed to noise pollution as i am .

The staff was cooperative and friendly changed curtains i wanted by request. Room was clean and had all of the necessities, everything i expected from a hotel.

I wish there was an easier access to drinking water, the room was a little too hot for my taste and there was some stains in the curtains.

The bed was really confortable and the room had the expected space, sufficient for those who are using the room only for sleeping.

Just a bit noisy as hotel is just in the heart of bussy part of London but acceptable for such spot.

Warm cosy room just 5 minutes walk from metro and shopping center. Great food from whole word can be found in this area. O2empire as well very close to.

Very small room, but enough for travelling through, there is no lift so had to walk up 4 levels on this very old staircase, street is quiet but you can hear other guests talking, walking up and down and closing doors very loudly.

Lovely and helpful staff, easy access to public transport, lots of shops nearby, comfortable bed and recently renovated bathroom with strong water pressure

The hotel has no lifts so it may be hard for some people to reach their room The room was very small with a double bed in the room The shower room was very small so some people may have trouble getting in / out shower
