Everything. The place is old and has character. Sure there's quirky little things like the dips in the floor. But everything works, is clean and at great value. Breakfast room is set up with a family feel and I enjoyed meeting other guests. Staff are friendly and helpful. The place met my expectations and then some.

Hotel is literally on the beach front which was really nice. Staff were really nice. House keeping was fabulous. That lady is lovely. Was offered fresh towels everyday. Town centre is like a 5 minute walk away. Hotel was really quiet ans peaceful. Had fridge in room which was very nice. I enjoyed my stay there. Staff were lovely.

Shower was very loud initially but otherwise functioned fine. Room was cosy but up a lot of stairs as at the very top.

Great location a stones throw from the promenade. Typical B&B style accommodation. Friendly/family run and very clean.

Nothing comes to mind was really great experience.

Only really slept in the room but it was good and the facilities great staff are always friendly. Staying here suits needs as I don’t really stay in the room long more just in the evening. So for my purposes it’s a great match. If I was staying with a view to spend a lot of time in the room then it wouldn’t be as good as it’s basic (not in a bad way) but I think it’s pretty clear from the listing that it’s what it is. Where it really counts is the high standards of cleanliness and friendly helpful staff.

Very cozy room with fridge which is very important to me as I have diet restrictions. There was even wine glass (I was there for New Year's Eve). Definitely will stay again. Staff very friendly and helpful.

It was very cold and windy while we were there and the windows let in quite a draft, but heating was on full blast and was fine snuggled under the duvet.

Lovely room, great location, very clean and staff super friendly and helpful. Perfect for what we needed. Oh and a lovely view of the sea from bed! Nice breakfast too

Really good communication re our late arrival, it was easy to get access to the keys and well-coordinated. Happy with how clean the room was. Great seafront location and in walking distance to many shops, including the old town. Have stayed here many times now and always like it.

Alexander’s is a small, comfortable hotel along the seafront with easy access to amenities. The reception was friendly and welcoming and one of our rooms had a sea view. Highly recommended.

I had not stayed in this hotel before. I have stayed in a few of the hotels that are in Hastings though. But this one has come out tops! My 1st impression was how clean the hotel was; not just the rooms; but the hallways and the dining area as well. The welcome was really fantastic, friendly and helpful and greeted with a lovely smile! Just lovely and welcoming thanks to Kate the Manager. I couldn’t get to the top of the hotel so easily so Kate looked after me and upgraded my room to a sea view! Fantastic! There is everything you need in the room and lovely new bathroom (my only complaint would be that a heater in the room would have been great as I found the room cold at night) But I’m older! Overall this is a very good Hotel to stay at in Hastings and I would not hesitate in booking again for my next trip to Hastings. See you then Kate and good luck! There was a nice big bath but, not enough hot water to fill it. The breakfast sounded good but there was a very limited window in which you could have it, 7.30 to 8.30 and it was a little early for a leisure stay.

Well appointed room. Received a free upgrade which, always goes down well! Breakfast was an option and smelt good although I didn't partake. Great location on the see front. Near to an underground parking garage.
