Parking garage too small and difficult to manoeuvre

Very bad signage - hotel advised to park in multi storey and cross boardwalk (uncovered so got soaked) but at end of boardwalk no directions. Map on wall only had unit numbers no names. Fortunately one man walking advised to go through behind restaurants. For future reference turn left by Pizza Express. Clearly big problem as when we left saw another customer wandering around and we were able to guide her too.

No water in the room. Small room. Noisy toilet system. The room was cold and I couldn’t get the heater to work. Understaffed bar with long wait for service. Very poor choice of bar snacks - no crisps!

The breakfast was excellent. The best eggs Benedict I’ve had for some time and very fast arrival from order.

Pillows were too soft for me, toilet seat was a little wobbly.

Hotel was clean and modern. Great shower and bathroom. Can't fault the location, exactly where described and easy to get to. Good transportation links and entertainment nearby.

The pillows within the room were not comfortable enough which disrupted our sleep. It would have been a nice touch to have some drinking water in the room. A gym facility or arrangement with the David Lloyd would have been wonderful. Breakfast wasn't included in the price and we think £21pp was a bit expensive. The bar area was cold.

The location, easy to park in the 24 hour multi storey and access the promenade and restaurants. Good public transport links. Very easy check in and check out. Friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent service in the bar and restaurant area. Delicious food. Overall lovely ambience. The fresh spa like aroma within the corridors was wonderful.

The check in was quite disappointing,considering you can’t check in until 3pm didn’t expect a delay of 1 1/2 hours,finally got into the room at 4.30,not really acceptable having to hang around waiting when paying £265 a night.

Some of the staff seemed a little annoyed that you approched them let alone asked for something. Didn't need that! The evening bar staff a little curt, it was very loud at the bar and the guy was talking away from me so i couldn't hear what he was saying another bar guy snapped what he said. Being deaf in one ear doesn't help but didn't need that either. The pillows in the room look good until you use them and they turn to pancakes with no neck support.

The room was lovely and the view over the marina was to die for. You needed a map to move around the bed. The breakfast was better than expected and the young man who ran the breakfast area was fantastic.

The staff were not welcoming at all. The receptionist barely spoke. He didn’t even speak when you walked past him. We asked for a coffee in the morning someone said I’ll be back in a minute and nothing.

I wish that there could be comfy chairs in a 2 person room, not a comfy one and a office style one... this is in most hotels in the uk, but would be nice to be able to siit for a while in comfort.

We Stayed for 2 nights and had a meal in the restaurant on the second evening, it was lovely, we were served by a lovely Lady called Niamh, a credit to your company

Our rooms view on the left side was of the cliff face and the roofs of other buildings. There were also scuff marks on the walls from the side tables. The marina is a hours walk from town and is kind of isolated from Brighton.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are a good size with a huge shower and the bed although a little soft for my preference was nice. There are loads of restaurants on the marina. Free parking at the multistorey is great

I must say that the breakfast was a little mediocre. We arrived at 9.30am (breakfast finish 10.30am so one hour left) There were no glasses for juice, no Greek yoghurt left, no brown toast and it would have been nice with something savoury for the toast like a few slices of cheese or ham or slices of cucumber / peppers etc. and not just jam. The Pastries also looked very sad and not really high standard like you would expect when you’ve paid close to £300 for a room. We ordered cooked breakfast and the poached eggs were cooked to perfection however the hollandaise was like soup and didn’t really taste of anything.

Lovely room. Liked all the little “extras “ like the coffee and chocolate etc
