Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe site said free parking, when we got there this was not the case , caused a major issue, had to rent someone’s driveway, this was not easy at such sort notice , wasted all afternoon of our arrival . This option should be removed as it’s not an option false advertising
Good location very close to Limehouse station perfect for getting into central London

IrelandIt may have been my own fault but I read "close to Canary Warf" I thought closer that it is. So I'd made plans that focussed on that area.
WOW! What an absolutely beautiful way to spend a few days. Lulubelle had everything you possible want or need. I was met by a most welcoming and helpful man who showed me all I needed to know and was willing and happy to wait as my flight was delayed. There are also lots of lovely places to eat close by. And it couldn't be closer to Limehouse Station

NetherlandsIt was a bit difficult to get Ubers to pick us up from the location, but it wasn't a problem.
The houseboat was very warm and comfortable. It was close to the Tube so getting around London was easy.

United KingdomOnly issue for us was parking. Booked on assumption of reserved space but found out this is not guaranteed day before we went and car park was full on arrival. (they have since changed listing making this more clear) We waited around and luckily someone went so we were OK but waisted a bit of time. Bear in mind if you do manage to park you are locked in (and out) at night. Not an issue for us as had no intention of driving in London any more than we had to !
Boat was excellent couldn't fault it. very clean and spacious (and big TV in the main bedroom!) Everything you need is there. Very quiet location as well considering your in London. The beds are a bit high and the bathroom pumps a little noisy but only to be expected on a boat like this. Not to many eating places right by, Bread Street Kitchen is very close to it but no end of restaurants etc with delivery available. Many restaurants at canary wharf about 20 mins walk (with great views of the Thames and London Skyline . Limehouse station very short distance and river taxi near by. All very reasonable to get around and about. If you are new to London (as we were) apps will get you taxis and food whenever you want. Convince shop is 2min walk ( a lot bigger inside than it looks) with more shops about 10mins walk away.

IrelandSlightly out of the city with travel to get to main areas. But there is ample options to get there. DRL, buses, taxi, uber and bolt. Boat was clean but could have been cleaner as a lot of cobwebs around windows and roof. But again wouldn’t put you off staying.
High quality stay, everything you need in and around the property. Calm and quiet location even tho it’s in a busy area.

AustraliaThere was nothing we didn't like about the accommodation, it was amazing! The only small thing that we were disappointed by was that the gas fireplace wasn't allowed to be used by guests which we completely understand given the risk or cost, but we were looking forward to getting cosy in front of the fire when we booked it.
The houseboat has been renovated incredibly well and has everything you need for an extremely comfortable stay. The facilities inside the boat were perfect so that you could really settle in as if it was home. Everything was super clean, the bed was perfect and the person who greeted us was super friendly and helpful. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone!
