For a four night stay the room seemed a little small, getting round the bed was tight, next time I'll contact hotel direct.

location was good close to the subway and botanical gardens and Byers road. Room was immaculately clean, bed was comfy

No food, but I booked knowing that. Window looked out onto a wall, not a massive drama, as was only there to sleep.

Clean and quiet. Very comfortable bed. Free WiFi. Free parking.

Next time I’d book a double room with a bath. The shower was perfect but there was no towel heater. The room was lovely and warm. All in all a very pleasant stay.

The location is perfect, so close to Botanic Gardens and the River Kelvin. The room was very clean and modern. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a lovely stay.

The heating wasn't on in the room so when we return to the room after an evening out it did take a while to warm up the room

Location was perfect for exploring, very close to Botanical Gardens. 10 Min walk to lots of restaurants and shops. Breakfast was lovely with a good choice.

The shower wasn't the most powerful ever, and it would be good to have a wee shelf in the cubicle to put your bottles on. Not a big problem though!

Very clean, very comfortable bed and pillow, cosy and warm, strong WiFi. A nice quiet hotel. I would stay again.

I drove there and managed to park in the hotel carpark at the back. Was a bit tight and I was lucky to get a parking place. Shower hose was leaking from the shower head, so there wasn't much water which came out of the shower head. When I checked out, I told the receptionist and he said they would get replaced.

Room was nice and comfortable, guy at reception was really nice and helpful.

Electric wall heaters in rooms cousd have come with instructions on setting timers. Either On or OFF meant either cold of too hot.

Clean, comforatble, good location in the West End. Very good value over Xmas even though rooms not over Xmas period (we were made aware).

room a little small. floors creaked a little. window a bit drafty. audible street noise. BUT overall these were easily overlookable and kind of charming given the age and character of the building.

friendly reception staff. easy to find location with amenities nearby. lots of electrical outlets. freshly refurbished ensuite with power shower.

The steps up to the front door keep this from being an accessible hotel but my taxi driver was willing to carry my luggage up for me and I am able to slowly climb stairs. The shower in my room drained very slowly and the spray nozzle is hung so high up that average women will never be able to adjust it - so we hope your housekeeping staff are all giants to clean them properly! Also, the bathroom was very cold. If I left the door closed it began to feel like a refrigerator in there. Otherwise it was clean and attractive

David greeted me and was very cheerful and helpful when I checked in, then he was equally cheery the next morning at checkout. He carried my luggage down the steps and directed me to the best bus stop, too. There was a directory in my room telling about places to visit and how to get around Glasgow - , that was really helpful. The room is very small but lots of thought went into how to make the best use of everything. I especially appreciated the way the desk merged into a luggage rack that is right below a compact rack for hanging clothes - and all of that is next to the radiator and the window. It would be a very handy place to hang hand-washed items to give them the best chance of drying overnight! The room was clean and quiet. The pillows were very fluffy and comfortable. The curtain closure was a little awkward because it assumed I was six feet tall but other than that it was just the right amount of coverage without wasting any materials. The radiator controls were very easy to operate and I accidentally got the room a bit cold but I did sleep comfortably. If I need to spend a second night in Glasgow I will definitely consider the Ambassador again.
