Our room was a little tired looking, particularly the carpet. The restaurant was closed except for breakfast; however we were made aware of this when we booked. When we arrived we were informed of some building work going on during the daytime, however this did not impact us greatly as we were mostly out and about.

Location was excellent for a short stay, ideal for exploring the old town, main attractions and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was superb, enhanced by a wonderful view of the castle!

Sink in the bathroom was blocked & old hair etc. was stuck in there so my partner had difficulty shaving.

Great location. Bed & cotton sheets/duvet cover were so beautifully crisp. Room was lovely & large - we got upgraded!

Room was suitable for our needs but felt that it could have done with a full length mirror or at least another mirror in the bedroom. Not easy to dry/style your hair without one.

Probably the only mentionable thing for us was due to the construction next to our room. However, the workers did not start until 9 a.m., so we could sleep peacefully until then. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

When we arrived and departed the receptionists were very polite, helpful and kind. During our stay all the staff members we met were friendly and smiling. The rooms were all very clean, tidy and well-equipped.

The renovations meant that there was constant noise and no access to the bar/restaurant apart from breakfast. We also had to wait a long time to check in, an hour past the 2.30 stated in the information.

The pillows were too soft for us and the heating system in the room did not work. We were cold the first night but when we informed the reception staff we were provided with an electric heater and all was fine after that. We had to ask reception for milk regularly as there either was none, or a little amount provided in the room.

Location was superb. Not too far from the train station and all key tourist attractions are within walking distance. The room was a really good size, the shower was gorgeous and the shampoo, conditioner and similar provisions were of a good quality. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful. Filter water was available in the corridor of our floor and that was welcome

Our sink in the bathroom took forever to drain! Also, the view from our room wasn't the greatest (it was a back alley behind the building).

The room was nice. I appreciated they had a filtered water fill station. It was nice to have access to drinking water when we needed it.

The room we were in 4116, was a noisy room. There are four air conditioning units on the ground floor, but then constant noise of there operating during the night were very disturbing! Despite the breakfast choice, the pastries I felt were a little dry, and the poached egg I had one morning, was cooked dry, not runny at all.

Location! Right at the heart of the City tourist attractions. The room was a good size, good sized bathroom with a very good shower. The breakfast choice was good. The reception desk team were very informative and helpful.
