Everything was perfect. Top quality furnishings, extremely clean, comfortable bed, excellent shower, parking right outside the door, easy access to the town centre. Clear information provided by hosts, speedy response to communications. If we ever visit the area again, we will 100% be checking availability of this property.

It's really hard to think of something as the place is wonderful but the only thing I would suggest to add woud be a clothes rack as we don't like to use dryers. I feel bad saying that as the place was so great and the facilities first class.

A fantastic place to stay in Buxton! We arrived tired and a little stressed, Nathan saw the driveway alert that we had arrived and popped down to assist us with the lockbox. We were well on the way to gaining access but it was nice to be greeted and we gained some local intel from Nathan, thanks. Very well appointed and beautifully furinshed. Everything worked well and all of the applianced were of the highest quality, we appreciated the Dyson heating/cooling device. Really nice bathroom, wonderful shower and the little details like a light over the mirror show that the host has thought through how the space will be used A short walk into town, yes it was a bit steep but the older couple in front of us provided a great inspiration and before you know it you are home. Parking was easy directly infront on the street or there is also some off street parking. Very quiet inside and out and the front porch is the spot for evening drinks. Without doubt the best place we have stayed in the first four weeks of our UK tour.

Lovely stay at Ashleigh Buxton, only a short walk into the main town. Very accommodating upon arrival, we were even left with some food and drink essentials for breakfast. Would recommend, a lovely cosy and clean apartment.

Buxton is beautiful, more independent shops and eateries and beautiful architecture and fabulous countryside. our host was very friendly and helpful, tha accommodation warm, could mfy, pristine.

We liked everything

We had a wonderful stay. The one bedroom apartment was spacious, quirky, clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We had no trouble parking on the road outside the property and as it's just a 10 minute walk away from shops, pubs and restaurants we didn't use the car again until we left to drive home. We would definitely recommend this beautiful place and will be booking again.

Nothing - the room was beautiful and the facilities top notch.

This is a stunning property just a short walk from Buxton centre. My parents and I just loved our stay here. I’m not one to write reviews, but this place is exceptional. We just wished we lived nearer so we could stay here whenever we fancied a little break. We will definitely be visiting again, though. The bed was super comfortable, the room clean and airy and the bathroom had a great shower and a roll top bath.

No freezer compartment in the fridge was our only inconvenience.

The decor and furnishings were fabulous. It had been created by someone with excellent taste. Comfortable dining and sitting areas and a well organised kitchen area. Lovely big shower in bathroom. Street parking very easy though there was a slightly tricky parking space off road for this accommodation. ( The one above the garages at the back). Also plenty of sockets and some USB charging sockets.

We loved absolutely everything about this beautiful place. It is truly so special! The hosts were so thoughtful and have done such wonderful justice to this lovely Victorian house. Huge, luxurious rooms with gorgeous antique furnishings, a grand and comfortable sitting room, an elegant and beautifully appointed dining room. Massive, sparkling bathroom and tub with the fluffiest possible towels. So stylish and clean and well-maintained. They really did think of everything. We can’t wait to stay here again!

There was nothing we didn't like. The surroundings were amazing. The only reason I didn't give it the top mark for location was because the house was on a small hill; most people could manage this easily but I have mobility issues. There was an easy solution; we just took the car to the bottom of the hill and used it to come back to the house.

The host left lots of breakfast choices in a very clean kitchen. we paid for self catering. the breakfast dishes and tea and coffee being there made a real difference. The place was beautiful and spotless and the host was extremely helpful. The bathroom was perfect for us- both a walk in shower and a bath.
