The sofa is a foldable bed and isn't very comfortable. No oven just a 2 ring plate. An air fryer and a new sofa would make the place perfect.

It's a lovely remote spot ideal for touring the Islands. Good owners with good communication. Great value

Pestering signs all over the place from the owners!

Have given excellent rating, which I very rarely do, mainly because it was on a cheap deal. Got bedroom, bathroom and large kitchen with all facilities and nice view.

Inexpensive, small, comfortable accommodation. Well placed to visit all of Orkney's sites, but you do need a car from here.

On arrival the amount of instructions were a little overwhelming. The lack of an oven restricted what we could cook which in a remote area proved difficult. The hot plate provided set off the smoke detector despite following the rules. Very well equipped but a bit more storage for our belongings would be useful as we were there for a week. A comfier settee to relax on would be good.

Good walks close by. Great local wildlife. Comfortable bed and hot shower. Great Wi-Fi. Lovely to see wind power and solar panels and good recycling and wildflowers and plenty of trees in the garden. Lots of equipment. Good temperature. Easy check-in. Good information on local area.

An incredibly beautiful, cosy accommodation where you have to feel comfortable. Beautiful location near the sea and very clean. Thank you for the really lovely welcome kit. I could have done without all the little instructions around the place. I'm quite well house trained at 59. Anythin else I can probably figure out on My own. It might have been nice that when the smoke alarm was triggered on My first night(nothing to do with Me) that someone had popped round to explain it.....

Aviedale Suite was very comfortable with a lovely view. The bed is comfortable, bathroom very clean with a lovely shower, and well appointed kitchenette with everything we needed for our week-long stay. The cottage is small but very comfortable, and very clean. We would definitely come back.

No pub nearby, and nearest store was in Finstown about 5 miles away meant for those with bike for transport had to plan ahead. Otherwise ideall.

The location between Stromness and Kirkwall was ideal for visiting the area, and the views were stunning, with local walks a plenty. Welcome pack was appreciated.
