Breakfast was unbelievable. Plenty of choice and very different to the usual B&Bs I’ve stayed in before. Only wish I had managed to eat the whole breakfast and left a clean plate. But saying that it was 2 or 3 courses. Let’s just say my eyes were bigger than my belly. Well done 👍

Comfortable, clean and warm hotel. Friendly welcoming owner. Delicious breakfast. The hotel is situated in the lovely town of Aberfeldy, within walking distance to shops, cafes, restaurants and walks along the river up to the Birks of Aberfeldy.

There is always room for improvement. Longer bed? I'm 6' 2"!

What a lovely place!! The room was so clean and tidy and fresh and so spacious (we were in Faskally.) The breakfast is amazing the coffee and orange juice was well complimented and would recommend the porridge! Mark was amazing his knowledge and his hosting was excellent! Also conveniently located to many spots, we enjoyed the townhouse for food, highland safaris and even the local clan history with castle menzies and Killin. The parking was great and have to mention there’s a great walk close by called the birks of Aberfaldy not to be missed. Also a lovely guest lounge to enjoy with local reading!

No dislikes just an observation. There was nothing to not like about Balnearn House but the room could have had a table lamp (or similar) on the dresser to help with applying makeup. It didn't detract from my stay it would just have made it easier before going out in the evening as the central room light was dim. I could have moved a bedside lamp if I'd thought about it.

Loved that the original character of the house remained. Felt homely. Excellent location and run by a lovely couple. Excellent choice at morning breakfast and plenty of tea and coffee in the room.

Fantastic stay, room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was exceptional, homemade granola was superb, the full Scottish breakfast was cooked to perfection with good quality ingredients. Good location, lots of lovely places to eat out in Aberfeldy, beautiful walks and scenery. Hosts very welcoming, we would definitely stay here again.

Everything you want from a b & b, central location for Aberfeldy, beautifully appointed house with large residents lounge which was great for meeting and chatting with other guests. Comfy bed, fabulous breakfasts with lots of choice. Great hosts who were always happy to help with ideas for days out. Would not hesitate to recommend Balnearn House for anyone wishing to stay in the area. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

A particularly hot summer so a fan would have been handy to have in the room.

Apart from everything it was lovely to be greeted by both Claire & Mark on our arrival & are happy to assist in any way they can especially with heavy bags. Lovely rooms, guest lounge, breakfast area & garden. Breakfast had a great selection & so delicious - best had on whole 4 week trip across the UK. Gorgeous dogs as well which we loved giving attention to. So close to town & Birks of Aberfeldy so pleased we selected this location to stay at.

There was nothing to not like. Everything was absolutely perfect.

Lovely place to stay in the heart of Aberfeldy, They were very welcoming on my arrival, and the room was absolutely gorgeous, beautiful garden view, very clean, bright, and relaxing. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and served with a very personal feeling. If/when staying in Aberfeldy again, I wouldn't consider anywhere else.
