Toilets in the rooms did not flush very good at all, booked 6 rooms for friends and family and all said the same about the toilets.

Hotel is well placed to visit the whole area, near the motorway but not noisy. The Health spa sells Starbucks, breakfast and other food items. Room has tea and coffee facilities and hotel has a bar in reception. Staff are friendly and very helpful, great value for money.

Industrial estate vibe. Though it was good to have a bar, a couple of idiots made the atmosphere a bit rubbish and I don’t think the desk staff could do anything to address it.

Our room was lacking bedside lights. We only had main light in bedroom and a couple of spotlights above the bed..not very romantic if you wanted mood lighting! No light round mirror on vanity unit. Our room faced the main road and didn't get much sun so extra lighting would have been helpful when doing hair. Can't fault the cleanliness. It was just lighting that was below standard

Bar area in the reception was fantastic. It was lovely to be able to get a drink and sit down for a comfy chat before bedtime. The staff were amazing too. Very helpful.

Had to pay £10 for swimming pool and spa per person as I booked apparently through Expedia although I booked it on booking.com Also spa closed at 7:30 pm on a Saturday although opening times was displayed till 8.

Nice and quiet area, few minutes drive from town centre. Welcoming great staff.

A couple came in off the street and asked about spa treatment prices, took two towels from the reception area and went round the back of the hotel with towels which we witnessed on our way to the health club. Then later in the evening People coming in off the street trying to book rooms late in the evening. Two females and two males came in the females clearly stated to the males they wished to be left alone. The males then proceeded to try and book a room also and demanded to know what rooms the girls had. Maybe I shouldn't have but I had to say to the receptionist those girls have clearly asked to be left alone. The men were verbally abusive to me meaning we had to leave the bar area and go to our room. It doesn't give the vibe of a safe environment so we wouldn't be returning.

General comment: I would like brighter lighting over the desk in the room and a second small chair or stool.

Staff at the hotel are excellent. They try their best to help meet your needs. The staff in the spa are also very welcoming and the same goes for the restaurant at the gym where breakfast is available.

The cafe in health club was small and more of a sociable area not necessarily somewhere to have a meal but this was understandable as it was a health club and more for somewhere to sit and take a break.

We arrived on 22nd Feb (the man who was on reception was so helpful and friendly so thank you) I was given the keys to hotel earlier and allowed me to check in early due to this occasion being for my partners birthday. We cleaned up before leaving. They accepted a hotel set up. Hotel was fresh and clean matched the photos on website.
