To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomThe USB sockets in the room didn't work. There was only one cup provided despite it being a twin room. There isn't a lift so carrying luggage could be an issue.
Very conveniently located for Paddington train station. Room was small but comfortable. One towel each and beds were narrow but for one night totally acceptable.

United KingdomThe room had a French door/window leading onto a tiny decked 'courtyard' . The door would not lock. IT NEEDS FIXING PLEASE. I slept with a chair in front of it although it opened outwards. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room would have been wonderful.
A five minutes walk from Paddington tube and railway.. A very pleasant and helpful young man on reception. I was allowed to upgrade from a single with lots and lots of stairs to a double on the lower ground for a small fee and no fuss. A very clean room, en suite shower and wc. Clean, fresh white bed linen and towels and soap provided. Lots of hot water to shower. Comfortable double bed.

AustraliaShower and bathroom was quite small. The hotel was noisy around the rooms and can hear everything like foot steps above or below you. A few facilities in the bathroom were broken but wasn’t a big issue
Daily room service was great with fresh towels each day. Staff were friendly and the location is great as it’s a couple minute walk to paddington station and a bunch a food shops all around

I got a real deal on the price through booking.com paying only £44.00 for a night. So everything was good. Had I paid the normal going rate I wouldnt have been so pleased. The room was comfortable and warm, with an en suite shower and toilet. There was tea and coffee making facilities but no biscuits, but for £44.00 you wont hear any complaints from me lol.

This is one of many hotels in the locality. It is - like many - Indian-owned, so you can be sure of a kind welcome, which I received. The staff were very sweet' . This particular hotel is at the Hyde Park end, so the location has a pleasant and upmarket feel about it. The hotel is convenient for transport - bus, tube and Paddington Station, It does not offer food, but that is no problem with many choices of places to eat very near by. The shower was good, with lashings of hot water.

LatviaThere were no breakfast available, but there were stores and cafes close to the hotel. Not all of the lights in the room were working. The showers could use some updates as it was quite worn out.
Location was easy to find and close to Paddington station. Few minute walk from Hyde park and 20-30min walk from London Zoo. Staff was friednly and rooms were cleaned every day. Beds were comfortable to sleep in. There was AC in the Family room.

United States of AmericaWas in two different rooms. Much preferred the room on top floor in back. No traffic noise. Plus didn't like being below people - was noisy...alot of walking back/forth. You carpeted the stairs. Too bad can't do the rooms. Need to tell people coming in after 10 or 1030pm to be quiet. Was woken up several times by people talking loudly and slamming doors.
