Our only criticism of our stay was that the beds were very springy and we would have preferred a firmer mattress.

We arrived early for check in and the member of staff on the desk said she would ring my mobile number when check in was available. We loved room no 22 in the courtyard. It was lovely to have a bath and tea/coffee making facilities. Because we had eaten lunch out in Weston, we opted for 2 starters each for our evening meal and they were delicious. The service at breakfast was delightful as was the range of food on offer.

Room above us had creaky floorboards so woke us during the night but that’s to be expected with an old building . Breakfast staff were very slow at taking our order we waited a good 20 minutes to be offered any drinks so didn’t have breakfast

Loved the pool accessibility. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order and as much as you want. Smart TV with netflix access and WiFi. Wish I had of tried the dinner options.

Very friendly hotel. Nothing was too much trouble.enjoyed our short stay will stay again. Lovely swimming pool which we had to our selves most times we use it added bonus of a sauna. Beds very comfortable and all towels and linen nice and clean and smelt freshly washed.

Breakfast was delicious however I think if possible some more staff. We waited 30 minutes for coffee. 2 waitresses one for food one for drinks. they kept walking past us was quite strange. But honestly the quality would really good

Nothing not to love about this place

We had an amazing stay ..the staff were all very welcoming and friendly anything we needed was dealt with very efficiently..the hotel was spotless in all areas not 1 spec of dust or anyrhing out of place the room was outstanding also very comfortable..the breakfast was well above standard also the gentleman who took our orders and served us was absolutely charming ..we have no complaints and would 100% recommend and stay again. The swimming pool was just an added extra for my son he was in his element most of used it 4 times in 24 hrs and the fact fresh towels were given each time was perfect great hotel great staff well done guys

The ladies changing room for the pool area smelt like pee. Needs a good bleaching.

The largest room in the hotel is beautiful. Lovely jacuzzi bath and extra large bed. Everything perfectly clean and comfortable. The pool and sauna facility is a lovely addition which we made use of. Food in the restaurant is beautiful. Chef knows how to cook a steak properly so hats off to him. Would highly recommend eating here.

Although the breakfast was described as freshly cooked, the black pudding and sausage had obviously had been cooked some time ago, the black pudding was curled at the edges and the sausage had a hard outer shell and was dry. plus the sausage could have been of better quality, On saying that it was all perfectly edible, and had it not been described as freshly cooked it probably wouldn't have been worthy of mentioning
