Experienced a lot of noise from an adjoining room

When we dined in the restaurant, there was a wedding on and the doors to the garden outside were left open, so it was quite chilly. More consideration for guests dining would have been good.

Hotel had thought of every detail. The room was lovely and bed was so comfortable. The fridge was appreciated. View from room was amazing to see the River Clyde.

I was getting married nearby so the room i had was fabulous size for all my extra baggage !! Very clean , modern and peaceful down by the waterfront xx great sleep , comfy big bed and great room service for hungry kids when we arrived late at night x

The terrible old shower over the bath and the shower curtain . This isn't a criticism as the rooms are gradually being refurbished so I'm sure the top rooms will be done eventually.

Very spacious room. Comfortable bed and nice view of the Clyde. Delicious meal in.the restaurant.

Unfortunately the pool, sauna etc not available as being refurbished, better to have been told.

Poor maintenance. A gap in a window frame allowed wind to howl through during a gale outside. Dinner was a disappointment. Shin of beef was dry and tasteless.

The scones available at the bar appeared to have been defrosted rather than fresh, and were almost as tough as tennis balls. No towels available when I arrived at the pool reception, so the attendant said she'd bring some in to the poolside for me - she did that, but other guests saw her bring them and they walked off with them, leaving me to walk back dripping to the reception for a towel.

Room, breakfast, dinner all good. Swimming pool handy. Didn't use the gym but it looked well equipped. Car parking plentiful and free of charge. Access to hospital was primary reason for visit, as a relative was having care - extremely handy for that.

Nothing stands out

Great location with free car parking - Easy to get into Glasgow City centre by regular and reasonably priced train. Breakfast was OK - tables weren't very well cleaned, so each morning, bar one, we had to wipe them down ourselves. Staff friendly - though, on our arrival, we were asked to sit in the bar with our meal because the lady had already cleared up in the restaurant despite it still being within the operating hours.

Swimming lessons on in the small pool in the morning which took up most of the pool and spoils the getaway experience in my opinion. Food overpriced for what it was.

Room was excellent. Wehad a lunch. The bacon was so ur t you could hit it off the wall. Breakfast was very nice.

Just a little thing, WiFi reception was not the greatest in the room

From the outside it just looked like your normal standard building. But as soon as you stepped through the doors it was not what I was expecting. It far exceeded my expectations so much space, really modern, really friendly receptionist when checking in. The rooms again not what I was expecting. Had literally everything you needed. Loads of light coming in. If I'm honest when I walked in and saw the interior. I was so suprised I only paid what I paid not that I'm complaining as I really felt I got a good deal. My stay didn't include breakfast but it wasn't that much to add on any way. Loved the pool and gym. Restaurant and bar good choices of food and drink. Absolute friendly staff. Then breakfast good selection amd was perfect for my needs considering I had a fitness event. Definately would book this place again if I do the event I did next year.

I thought it was a bit expensive but as I was in for an operation at 9am the following morning, it was the only real option I had as I had to travel around 70 miles to get there.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was very large and clean with a great view of the Clyde.

Nothing - I have never been so impressed with very single thing about a hotel ever. Can’t fault a single thing.

I have done a trip advisor review also. The staff were amazing in this hotel and made my wee granddaughter feel so special. They were genuinely nice and helpful and made such an effort. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the room was beautiful and large and airy and great value for money.
