The room had a beautiful view, very clean comfortable bed. Its situated right in the centre of town making everything within walking distance . The host Mark was very hospitable, he made sure we had all we needed. Will definitely be coming back soon.

Really comfortable bed, slept really well. Room was beautiful! Host was so lovely and accommodating when we preferred to have a shower instead of bath in our ensuite. One of our best stays on booking.com so far!

The host was a lovely man who was extremely helpful during our one night stay. The decor was truly beautiful with a relaxing feel throughout. The accommodation was very central to the cinema, shops and many other local attractions . Strongly recommended just to have a getaway . Thanks to Mark

Super location. Parking was a bonus. Within walking distance of the High Street. Super comfy room with triple glazed windows for a quiet night. Amazing features in the house which has an interesting history. Mark was very welcoming and helpful. Thoroughly recommend.

Guess, I just stayed overnight rather than days.

I had an overnight stay (weekend). The location is ideal. It's in the town centre wherein accessible to restaurants, shops, cinema, pubs, gym, etc.😀. The room is superb and spacious. I love the bed and furnitures. The toilet is clean with toiletries. They have menu available if you need food. Free WiFi and has cable TV. And most of all the owner(?) is very welcoming and accommodating.

Beautiful building, centrally located with places nearby to eat and drink. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, the room was tastefully decorated and furnished, we stayed in the four poster room which was really nice.

The type of bedding was unexpected and not the conventional crisp white linen! Perhaps a selection of teas would improve the hospitality tray.

Breakfast would have been nice, but it wasn’t advertised so I can hardly complain, especially for the price. Maybe the complementary biscuits could have been nicer? Water pressure in the shower could have been a bit higher, I guess? I’m really reaching here.

Huge room in gorgeous, luxuriant historic building. Extremely characterful, with what appeared to be genuine antique furniture and paintings. Felt a little like staying in a stately home, yet cost less than many nights I’ve spent at downmarket chain hotels. My room was on a corner with an impressive panoramic outlook. The host was very friendly and seemed genuinely pleased to see me even with a quiet let check-in. He gave useful guidance on local restaurants.

Musty smell in entrance plus same with towels. Period four poster bed was novel but did squeak a lot.

Great central location. Good breakfast in cafe opposite (as explained to us beforehand). Large room with bath (as requested). Local restaurants very good - especially the Thai restaurant opposite.
