Treated ourselves to the cashelle suite which was stunning - bed was so comfy and cosy and having our own lounge was just great. Like you’ve been welcomed into someone’s home with hotel standards.

Absolutely fabulous ❤️ it doesn’t get any more quintessential than this. Like stepping back in time but with beautiful modern facilities. Home made cake on the terrace, a fab little honesty bar and the most welcome hosts. They couldn’t have been nicer. Breakfast was delicious - thank you we had the best stay we will see you again!

It was 20 minutes from the centre and as we love walking was no problem at all, but if you don’t like steep hills you would have to take the car to town.

Beautifully furnished and comfortable. Every thing was faultless from the fresh roses in the room to the gorgeous bathroom. The food was excellent and the hosts welcoming and friendly.

Amazing property, very clean and extremely well looked after and presented for guests. Breakfast was fresh, tasty and had good options to choose from. The staff were amazing and we were very well looked after. We discovered this little gem accidentally and have been raving about it since. Can not wait to return! We liked everything !

The location of Beryl is perfect with the most beautiful view from our bedroom window with Wells Cathedral in the distance. Because we arrived in daylight,I walked around the lovely gardens and sat in the Japanese Pergoda that over looks a large pond. I also walked through The Bluebell Wood adjacent to the house. The room was very comfortable with a huge bath. Holly greeted us on arrival and was very friendly. We met Mathew at breakfast and he was charming too!

Beautiful house and extremely comfortable. Our room had a separate sitting room, a very comfortable bed with all attention to detail. A kitchenette with fridge provided cold, fresh milk for tea in our room. Afternoon tea was included & served with cake downstairs every day. The breakfast was delicious with local produce used. We were so well looked after in such a wonderful home.

Everything about our stay was absolutely excellent. The room was incredibly comfortable, clean and very roomy. The breakfast was fabulous and we loved coming back late afternoon to tea, coffee and cakes. The location was spot on too. It’s close enough to walk to the centre but far enough to be private and quiet.

Elegant, historic property with spacious bedrooms, amazingly comfortable bed, and glorious views (from the Master bedroom). The staff was very friendly, helpful, attentive. The grounds were beautiful. We were unable to take advantage of all Beryl Country House had to offer due to our short stay and the rainy weather, but it’s clear the property has been lovingly and carefully renovated and restored over time. A wonderful breakfast, with amazing service. Entire staff was kind, considerate and friendly. A memorable stay.

Everything was outstanding: the property, our room (or rather, suite as w had a sitting rom and separate bathroom too); the hosts and the delicious afternoon tea and breakfast. We plan o retuning.

Had a wonderful stay, with the beautiful house and gardens. Loverly afternoon tea, the Master suite is very comfortable with stunning views of Wells Cathedral. Breakfast was also very good. Holly Mathew and Teacup made us most welcome. Will return again next year.

Beautiful house, lovely large bedroom overlooking gardens, great breakfast and afternoon cake was the best. Holly and her family are the perfect hosts and the addition of Teacup their little dog is the cherry on the cake.

Fabulous location, short walk into the city. Beautiful house and comfortable bedrooms. Delicious breakfast and great hosts. Lovely pool and gardens. Tea and cake 3-4pm a very welcome touch. Thank you. Highly recommended
