Not very clean in the bathroom, insufficient towels, the fridge from the room description was missing, inaccesible windows, very cold inside the room, dirty walls, bed duvet without cover, no extra duvet or blanket. Not shampoo/soap in the shower cabin, missing jacuzzi mechanism, jacuzzi totally useles, TV set up on a certain volume which cannot be lowered.

Nice location, big rooms, en suite bathrooms, big and spacious furniture. Big bed and extra bed.

The bathroom wasn’t good. The shower didn’t work and the bath jacuzzi didn’t work. But there was hot water. There weren’t enough towels, which I didn’t realise until it was too late at night. There was noise every time someone in another room ran water. A lot of noise from the motorway

Our breakfast was very good. Well cooked and tasty. The bed was comfortable.

The room is very dated (80s/90s) & well worn. Also smelt of cigarettes & judging by the number of butt ends on the roof just outside the window then many people have been smoking in there. Shame as I like to support local independent hotels but I have to be honest..... £30 per night would be a reflection of the standard, not £70+

I ask for twin beds as my dad is 88yrs and walks with a frame they said ok but when we arrived twin beds was up stairs no lifts so they put us downstairs one double bed fir my dad and a mattress on the floor for me which was disgusting but what else could we do we should of got a discount at least for there wrong doing an false information they gave us we will not stop there again mr a vickers and his dad

We ordered superior suite but the rooms needed upgrades. The bathroom was too small. The room is dull and the carpet smells. There were fighting and noises from the other rooms the entire night. The rooms smelled like weeds. When we were checking out the lobby staff and breakfast staff was outside smoking together. The lobby staff was dismissive. I hated that we had to fetch the heavy suitcases up the stairs. And I hated that when 2 guests checked in we had to come back all the way downstairs to ask for extra towels because the rooms only have one. If efforts is paid to better service the hotel standard will move significantly.

The lobby is nice and welcoming. Night staff was pleasant. Location is good.

As there was event going on in the evening we could hear a crowd of people fighting and arguing at about 1.00 am outside in the car park which went on for some time. Also it would have been helpful to have known there was no lift when booking.

There was no restaurant open which would have been good for the evening when we arrived. We didn’t have breakfast. Hotel staff were very helpful and helped us upstairs with our luggage.

A little dated, needs an upgrade, but was satisfied as the price was affordable.

Friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble, late bar a bonus 👍, good restaurants nearby, comfortable beds with a good night's sleep, late checkout available.

The room itself could use a bit of TLC as it is a bit tired, e.g some new carpets, thermostat tab in the shower needs some freeing up as very stiff to open and close and perhaps an size up for the tele as the room is very spacious.

Broken window Noisy fan but staff sorted it. Advertised as no stairs but when i got there it was a large flight of stairs. When i complained i was told it was advertised as stairs, had to show a screenshot of the advertisement saying no stairs.

Lots. Restaurant didn’t serve evening food so your option is to go to the Indian across the road. Fine if you like Indian otherwise you have to go elsewhere by car. breakfast was served between 8-10am so no good if you are out early. None of which was told to me beforehand or after I booked. Also, there is no a charge for dogs despite comments saying well bagged dogs stay for free. Bedroom was very dated, sheets old and don’t fit Oh….. and my car got broken into and the hotel didn’t notice until I mentioned it to them. Also, a van got stolen the same night!!

Initially booked the hotel because of its location and price and seemed to tick all the boxes I look for. Bit there was very little else to be impressed about
