Bath took along time to fill. Breakfast was nice but considering we went down an hour before service ended, the fruit bowls were virtually empty and the cooked breakfast was quite sparse.

Room was large and comfortable with standard hotel accessories. Bed was large and comfortable.

Internal and external decor was a bit ‘tired’ and could do with some investment and updating. The soundproofing between floors and rooms was also not great, meaning that we were awoken several times during the night by other guests.

Cooked breakfast was a bit cool. It is always difficult though especially on a Sunday morning to guess how many guests will be down for breakfast at what time. It may be worth asking guests to estimate what time they would like breakfast on check in. Great welcome at reception and on checkout. Just one member of staff who did not seem to want to be at work and made you feel uncomfortable when ordering anything. Leisure facilities could do with a bit of an upgrade but for the price we paid they were a bonus.

Good location for our stopover. Clean and comfortable room, great shower. Good value for money. Enjoyed a swim. Great welcome from reception staff.

I would have said nothing, however we were awoken at 6:30am by loud shouting and crashing of beer kegs on our 2nd morning, it's a shame this happened as the rest of our stay exceeded our expectations. The sign of the hotel should be replaced as it does not reflect the high standard of the hotel inside, on first arrival it makes it seem run down, which it is not.

Clean, comfortable, nice food and friendly staff. All excellent.

The staff and service were exceptional, a rare quality in this day and age. A really lovely, warm hotel and spa, with that feeling of being genuinely welcomed.

Check in was made to feel like an inconvenience. Room smells of smoke and dated, lights flickering a lot.

Breakfast was very nice and the comfort of the bed was great. Location was great for a family event near Lutterworth. The event in The Court room was really relaxed and the food quality was great.

Nice place, quiet setting, and wonderful staff (particularly need to mention Jodi on the front desk for being so lovely). Leisure facilities were small but fine for a short stay.

The food let it down, very expensive for what was on offer. would not recommend eating there but the rooms and amenities were spot on.

Gamekeeper's building alarm system was triggered approx 05:50 and stayed on for approx 20 mins. One of the hot chocolate sachets in the room was open. It had been opened by a previous resident to said room. There wasn't a glass or cup of any kind in the ensuite bathroom to swill mouth after brushing teeth. I had an evening meal at the bar, a chicken shawarma. The food tasted good but I was expecting a higher quality/quantity to match the cost £19.95. The swimming pool temperature seemed cold, luckily the sauna was available so I used that pretty quickly after having a short swim.

Hotel overall was clean and warm. Staff were approachable and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Sauna was fantastic.

The pool and spa were a bit dated and the changing rooms a bit run down. The evening dinner was overpriced for the quality (£18-20 for a main course - nice enough but nearer the £12-14 price mark in quality).

The most friendly hotel in the U.K. I have stayed in! Nice quiet location. Breakfast good. Pool and spa facilities quiet. Room very warm and comfortable. Restaurant clean and comfortable.

Really charming, not a run of the mill wedding / golf hotel. Friendly staff, a super swimming pool and sauna, large comfortable room and good quality breakfast. Excellent price too. And the hidden garden could be lovely in summer, it was wonderfully peaceful.

The TV didn't work but was replaced. The radiator didn't work in the bathroom, although they tried to fix it.
