We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomConfiguration of the shower room was odd and made it all a little cramped. No mirror above the dresser and near the sockets.
Most of the staff were very pleasant. Renovations were taking place at the time but that was well managed. Food was OK. Rooms a little small but ok for an overnighter.

United KingdomCould breakfast timings be extended half an hour later? Our room was a bit hot when in full sun & aircon didn't seem very effective. TV reception was a bit glitchy - but as we didn't watch it for any length of time, it didn't matter to us. Lift was interesting - lots if scraping externally as you pass the floor being worked on!
Breakfast was good - I wonder if stopping half an hour later would suit more guests. Room was fine, facilities were good. Tea & coffee replaced each morning. Bathroom was clean, compact and well stocked with shampoo & shower gel. Staff were friendly, courteous and helpful.

Located on the sea to walk to it. Refurbished bathroom. Comfy bed. Had all facilities there. Found a climate control switch had been left on as cold in the room.

IrelandThat i didnt eat at the Marco Pierre White steak restaraunt on the ground floor! The tomahawk steak at 69 quid was a temptation, but as it wasnt my birthday, I couldn't justify paying that much (plus i was on a diet) :-(
I booked a single room, and i got a single room!! I didn't think hotels did these any more, lol. Tiny room but comfortable, clean and a great Seaview (rm 469). Staff polite and friendly. Parking is a bit if a free for all, but an underground carpark a couple if minutes walk away was excellent value at 2.20 pounds for an overnight stay. Breakfast excellent but i would of liked a menu choice of, say eggs benedict/florentine. But they did make me poached eggs when i asked. Wood stay again

United Kingdomunfortunately we were kept awake all night by banging of doors and shouting and laughing till the wee small hours which sadly ruined the stay. We do not blame the staff but more could be done to make the Hotel quiet at night sadly. We would return but has put us off.

Room was lovely, understand that the hotel is being refurbished Wi-Fi was poor quality but I tethered so didn’t bother to complain…..I was quite concerned about what the room would be like after the staircase was quite shabby but room was lovely, Alex on reception was really helpful bar staff were great and waitress was really helpful…..nothing was too much trouble

United KingdomUnavoidable evidence of renovation work here and there, especially in the lobby areas around the lift (paint on tired carpets etc.) Occasional delays in being able to use the lift during the morning when it was busy with housekeeping staff going about their duties. A heavy sound of drilling in a nearby room for much of the Sunday afternoon, when we had hoped to chill out in our room.
Well-presented room (our request for the same room as before was met promptly). Substantial breakfast to set us up for each day. Never any rush on the part of staff with whom we engaged. Enjoyable and relaxed evening mean in the MPW restaurant on one day (separate survey already submitted).
