Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I was hoping that the room window would have been a little larger, but that was not a real problem and it didn't really affect my stay. Didn't really like the bathrobes as the fabric was synthetic on the outside, but again this was just an extra anyway so not a problem just constructive feedback hopefully.
Very nice and clean room, quiet and pleasant in spite of ongoing work being done on the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was high quality. It's located in a quiet neighbourhood and close to the metro station.

This place just did the basics really well. Clean, comfy king bed, block out curtains, warm but could open windows if needed, great TV, chairs to sit on, little fridge and a marvellous shower. So good we have booked again.

The hotel is undergoing extension and refurbishment. Parts of the 'old' building are showing their age - cracked tiles, missing grout, broken bathroom fittings etc. Most guests might not notice but we stay at least once a year and can't wait for the upgrades to be completed.
Have stayed several times. The location is great and the staff always very welcoming, helpful and pleasant.

Stairs and no lift which for two older ladies was a struggle but staff did help with luggage thankfully In our particular room there was no where to use the hairdryer that was close to a mirror

We've stayed at the Lodge several times now. We love it and will always use it when we're in London. Pretty building, great room and facilities (nice gym, good breakfast). We love the quieter location but it's easy to get anywhere in London via the Distract Line (or walking)

The breakfast is amazing! Many options zu choose, and the latte tasted fantastic😁. The hotel is near east Putney station, just a few minutes walkway. With the underground is easy to reach every place in London quick. There are many stores and restaurants around the Hotel, so i could buy very things for daily i needed. Very kind staffs, I’m sure i will back again!

I recently stayed at this lovely hotel and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The room was nice, clean, and cosy, and the bed was very comfortable, which provided a great night's sleep. The staff was friendly and honest and always available to answer any questions. Additionally, after forgetting something in my room, they were quick to send it back to me. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay at this hotel again in the future.

I booked this stay for a mini early birthday trip for my boyfriend, not only did they make the stay amazing, but they upgraded our room and left a gift for my boyfriend! It was so thoughtful and we really appreciated it! Everytime we come to London we always stay there because the staff are amazing, the room is always clean and has everything we need! Thank you for making it a special stay!

I liked the windows in the room, the little sitting area and alcove sleep area. Plenty of room to move about and comfortable sleep. I liked that I could hear birds outside the window in the morning.
