Nothing.

The location is close to Coniston Water and yet close enough to walk into the centre. Setting is picturesque and parking ample. The room was comfortable, clean and homely - the bed was excellent. There were plenty of choices in the way of breakfast, and I enjoyed mine on both days. Tracy and Michael are excellent hosts - welcoming and friendly. Wouldn’t hesitate to visit again.

We only had a rucksack each, but if you turned up with a suitcase each the room would have struggled for space. Fine for us only staying a couple of nights but something to bear in mind if you are staying for longe, as you might want to chose one of the larger room options.

The lodge was in a good location, just a short walk along an easy path to Coniston. The room was compact but gave us everything we needed at a reasonable price. The hosts couldn't have been nicer, and the breakfast was delicious.

Unfortunately we couldn’t get the tv to work. WiFi was available but our devices couldn’t connect.

Friendly welcome by Michael. Tracy was attentive at breakfast and it all tasted lovely. Room was basic but functional. Shower was great - hot and powerful.

Couldn't fault Bluebird Lodge. The location is just outside the centre which we wanted - a nice walk into the centre for evening meal or pop across the road to the pub. Lots of long walks available but also plenty of shorter walks to good places to eat or have a brew too. Room was spacious, clean, comfortable and well decorated. Breakfast was as large or small as you liked with plenty of options for all and a lovely view. Our hosts were very accommodating, welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend.

Noisy plumbing from adjacent rooms. Small size of bedroom. Tight squeeze with walking gear and suitcases. Looking at photo of house when booking I had imagined a more spacious room.

Lovely views, great hostess, good breakfast choices. Bedroom was nicely appointed.

Breakfasts were superb, excellent choice something for everyone. As we have visited Coniston many times when we had a caravan we knew exactly where we wanted to stay and weren’t disappointed.

Hosts Michael & Tracey were brilliant. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Room was very comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. Would thoroughly recommend staying if visiting Coniston or surrounding areas. Views at breakfast were stunning of the old man of Coniston and regular feeding birds on their feeders. Thank you both for a great couple of days 👍

What a fantastic place. Our rooms were perfect. We cooked dinner one night and popped over the road to the pub for drinks and dinner the other 2 nights. We loved the history of the area.

Owners were very friendly giving a very warm welcome, facilities met expectations, 5 mins from the centre of Coniston, perfect base for walking or watersports, good breakfast.

The noise from the pluming was very loud and we could hear a lot of noise from the people above us, the shower basin would overflow quite quickly.

The location is brilliant and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were amazing!
