We booked a table for an evening meal and were pleased that we did. Staff were warm and friendly which made us feel welcome. Excellent choice on the menu and the food was some of, if not the best I have had in a long time.

Room service not very good. Second day not much had been done at all. Third day totally missed the room. When this was pointed out we did receive a free drink each. At breakfast coffee refills very slow.

Excellent choice of breakfast options. Restaurant staff really friendly. Decoration in the restaurant very quirky.

If I was being picky the en suite could have been cleaner. Toilet had green mold in the bottom and the button to flush was broken

I liked everything about the hotel, all the staff were polite and very helpful. Thanks to Dave for taking care of my restaurant requests. My room was very comfortable as was the bed, l had a good nights sleep. I look forward to returning again in the future. Thank you for a great stay.

Our tv turned itself on and off at about 2am. We thought it may have been a power outage. And the room door was a bit tricky but neither of those things would stop us from booking again. The property itself was lovely and we would recommend it to our friends.

It was quiet, clean and friendly. The evening meals were delicious and the hotel was so pretty. Our window seat in the room was just lovely.

The room could do with a bit of TLC. The mattress was definitely past its best & there were no protectors on any of the bedding. I got the feeling the room had only had a quick clean. The cups & cutlery provided in the room were looking a little grubby & required a wash before I could use them. Astray for a little while, I eventually found the TV remote down the side of the bed, too. My room was made up after just one night sleeping in it, despite purposely not leaving the card requesting it hanging on the door handle. Surprising as a note in the room asked us to help them be sustainable by not requesting the rooms to be made up during the stay. The meal on the second day, despite being booked well in advance for 7pm, was pushed later as it seems there had been a double up on party bookings, which slowed down the service too. A bit tricky for us, as we all had had a very long day, wanted an early night & all had to be up very early again the following day.

This hotel was perfectly situated for a couple of days competition at Cadwell Park & was brilliant value for money. The room & bathroom were of a good size & well stocked with teas/coffees/ toiletries etc. The restaurant was very welcoming & offered a huge range of food. The staff were lovely.

Fantastic setting and an amazing room with four poster bed, lots of room for our dog to stretch out on the floor, air jets in the bath and tv at the end of it. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, food in the restaurant was excellent and breakfast was amazing

The room was too hot. I slept next to the radiator which could not be turned off or adjusted.
