There was a loud extractor fan noise in the bedroom coming from another part of hotel. Probably only noticeable as I was there for 1 night and spent most of my time in the room.

Staff and food were excellent. Hotel.had a beautiful smell, very clean. Room was spotless.

I felt the charge for the dog £14 per night was a bit excessive, however the staff did give her plenty of treats and a sausage for breakfast.

The service by the staff was excellent. The food for dinner and breakfast was outstanding.

Bathroom. No shelf to put anything on, the toilet leans towards the wall and seat not fitted properly. No draught cider.

Only one thing was very annoying, do not know if this was because of another guest or something with the pipes in the building. Every 30 seconds I was hearing very loud sound similar to flushing toilets. And it was almost whole night and early morning. Other than this small issue everything was lovely.

Bathroom could be upgraded and air conditioning would be an upgrade option. Food was excellent quality and well presented but bit pricey.

Location was fantastic for our road trip on motorbikes. Evening meal was delicious and filling. Breakfast was great but we all thought it was expensive compared to other accommodations. Parking was convenient and free.

The staff gave us a warm welcome. After a smooth check-in we found our peaceful room neat and clean. Later we enjoyed an exquisite dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, which we highly recommend.

Couldn’t get the tv to work.. Would have referred a shower to a bath. Would have liked some lighter meal choices and smaller portions. Mealswoud be good in the winter , could be described as hearty.

Received Haggis Neeps and tatties in the restaurant which wasn’t the best, the haggis was slices and like rubber and tasteless, we didn’t really touch it and were asked if ok to which we were honest but polite.. however replacement or refund or even an offer of a refund was never offered, we were told “we will tell the chef when in next” not good enough and a bit of a shock as we visited for our 5th time and certainly haven’t experienced anything like this previously..

The house keeping wasn't very good especially when we personally asked for our room to be cleaned which was only once in six days. No replenishing of toilet rolls or towels and even the bed wasn't changed or even made.The cups were changed.

Dinner tables too close so others conversations intrusive. Breakfast table by window much better. Didnt like not being able to call and speak with individual about the booking. (Confusion about meal booking time.) Piped music in lounge too loud. Didnt like that place unmanned before 2-3pm. Awkward when one is travelling.

Superior room spacious with large bathroom. Good views. Comfortable bed. Very good food. Excellent choice of breakfast. Friendly helpful staff.
