Evening food was superb! Staff were friendly and offered recommendations. Service was faultless with attentive staff and speedy service from ordering to having food on the table. Breakfast was very tasty too and great coffee.

United States of AmericaThis was my 40th wedding anniversary. We stayed at the Bridge Hotel on our honeymoon.The hotel has been modernized but the front entrance looks the same. It has a special place in our hearts. Food was great. The bathroom and room renovations are really wonderful. It was well worth the return trip.

Everything, the room was lovely with an excellent shower and bed, the food really excellent, really good pub style food and the staff polite and helpful. Despite the local Lake District infrastructure limiting internet access and power to Buttermere, the hotel managed to lay on WiFi in the hotel and two 7KW chargers in the car park which was a real plus as I drive an EV. Don't expect superfast WiFi or EV charging, it's not physically possible in this location, but the presence of these services was a real boon as there was no mobile signal around the hotel and very few chargers in the Lake area itself.
