Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The staff were excellent all of them, and I just requested a room with a nice view, and they gave me the best room in the hotel on the top floor with the panoramic view all around the city… I couldn’t of asked for more. It was probably one of my best hotel stays in the long long, long time. And great value for the money as well. I had an excellent trip to Liverpool, and if I returned, I would definitely stay at the cove Paradise again.

Could of done with a few more pots and pans. Bathroom door would not shut, reported, but did not fix during stay.
The location is great. The flat had a great view. It was very clean inside. The staff that I spoke with were all polite and welcoming.

The perfect location for exploring Liverpool. The room had a hotel feel to it and was very modern and fresh. One of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Also fantastic, friendly staff.

Unfortunately, the bed-sofa was disappointing: nice to look at but not really suitable for an adult to sleep on comfortably. It will only suit a child. It would have been useful if this limitation had been pointed out in the description.
A friendly and welcoming atmosphere at the reception and in the apartment; the 9th floor was very quiet and we enjoyed a great view. Superb location in the centre, so we could do everything we wanted on foot.

Only 1 hairdryer in an apartment for max 4, no plug near a mirror 🫤 not enough plugs for max 4 people with phones and iPads This is a modern generation that have many phones etc.

Nothing terrible, there was quite a bit of noise but we were right in Liverpool City Centre on a Football/Six Nations day so it wasn't a big deal.
- Reece and Diego on the reception desk were so friendly. - Close to everything in the centre of Liverpool, restaurants, bars and entertainment. Cinema is literally across the way. - Beautiful interior with tons of space and amazing city views.

Unfortunately, I have to knock 1 point down because the hot water supply was not working from midnight. Although the hotel accommodated us in another room for showering and extended our checkout time, it was still a significant inconvenience. Everything else was perfect.
I stayed at the hotel for the second time, and overall, I'm very satisfied. - The apartment is larger than expected, giving you a feeling of being at home. - Staff members at reception are very polite and helpful. - Near the high street, but very quiet. Last time I mentioned that the carpark was difficult to locate in my review, but this time I received directions in advance, which surprised me. I also did not encounter the refrigerator odor issue that I had mentioned last time. Great improvement - it is noticed, well done!
