I can't say that I didn't like anything. The apartment was small (the Green and Claret single room), as were the shower and toilet, but it was good value for money and perfectly suitable for my purposes (two nights only).

Very close to the sea, easily accessible by bus from the train station, nice area with everything you need around the corner. Pier and inner city within easy reach. Bike rental station in the immediate vicinity. The very friendly host deserves special mention! Communication via Messages was quick and easy. Thank you very much!

Nothing, it was fab.

Jeremy was super responsive and very helpful. His instructions about check in were very clear and he was able to arrange parking permits for me and I was able to park right outside. The room was immaculate and thoughtfully equipped with fresh water bottles and tea coffee etc a nice mug, plate, spoon and knife.

I had a great stay at Brighton Surf guest house. It's a self check in property, but the owner is easy to reach and gives you good information before arriving so checking in is super easy. The guesthouse is in a good location, close to bus stops and just ten minutes walk from Brighton Pier. About 20-25 minute walk from the bus station (or 5 minutes by bus). I booked a single room, but got a free upgrate to a double room! The room was a little small (which is pretty standard in the UK), so could be a problem if you have lots of luggage, but wasnt an issue for me. Cute room decor! The room also had water, tea, coffee and lots of biscuits/snacks which were included in the room fee. Great addition! I would absolutely stay here again if I visit Brighton again.

The owner Jeremy was extremely helpful and kind! The room was very comfortable and the free Wi-Fi was really fast. Room also had a tv with loads of channels, a fridge stocked with water and there was loads of snacks and tea/coffee provided. Location was a walking distance into the city and Brighton Pier. Check in and check out was also very smooth. Would definitely recommend staying here.

If you are plus size you really really would think it hell the shower 🚿 size is a joke I felt I couldn't really have a good shower I can't even imagine anyone who plus size even getting on with it plus self checking what not bad but bit worrying if you had an issue with something

I honestly think if a hotel room was like this I would be happy it was only a few nights yet I wish I stayed longer the small good size fridge plus the welcome pack and water in the fridge and the very beautiful clean bed and the location experience definitely definitely going back

We struggled to have a shower, it was impossible not to get the bathroom floor wet, that was the only downside of the stay.o

The tea, coffee and snacks were amazing and the fridge was full of bottled water. There were apples and nuts and lovely biscuits. All wonderful 😊 The bed was so comfortable and the electric fan was a lovely edition😊

Climbing up to the top floor with heavy luggage. Small shower cubicle with curtain touching me when having a shower. The room was very small.

My only thing to highlight would be please be aware there are a lot of stairs if you are on the top floor. Not a problem for us but others may need to be aware

Extremely helpful and friendly owner who emailed ahead and helped us with parking permits, very responsive to emails. Large comfortable bed, very clean, amazing location. It was hot at the top of the house but the owner had left us with two large fans which meant we were very comfortable.

It was very hot in Brighton when I stayed and the room had no air con, only a fan and the room was like an oven for a large part of they stay even with windows wide open all the time.

I didn't like the fact that you have no facial contact with anyone. I'm maybe old-fashioned, but I like to be greeted and at least meet who I might need to contact if needed
