Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaNo WIFI in the room. Had to be in the lobby to access Free WIFI. Otherwise, the hotel charges 7£ every day to have internet in the room. The fact that I have to tell front desk to fix the room daily. If you don’t mentioned since the beginning you’ll run out of toilet paper, towels, dirty cups etc.
Location. Super close to the Canary Wharf underground station and to Tesco market which is open 24 hours.

United KingdomOn arrival at approximately 6pm we decided to have dinner in the hotel on the 1st night and paid up front and given vouchers. Was told that dinner was served from 6.30 till 9. Despite the hotel having 2 restaurants, we wasn't made totally aware the vouchers given could only be used in one of them. Decided to go for early dinner e.g. around 7pm. Dinner was like a carvery but on arrival discovered that they had already run out of one of the meats (pork) and didn't have much of the other meat (beef) left. What was left was dry and tough. Not a great deal of other dishes to choose from and nothing seemed hot. Burners under crumble and custard servers had gone out so they were cold. Asked about if they had any other puddings and was told there was chocolate fudge cake but it was frozen - not much use!!! They eventually brought out some other puddings (cheesecake and tiramisu I think, plus a new crumble) and put new burners under the crumble and custard.
Staff friendly, request to open window dealt with promptly, breakfast nice and value for money. Location of hotel to transport links good.

United KingdomBEWARE - WHEN THEY SAY "ROOM WITH A VIEW" THEY MEAN "ROOM WITH A WINDOW." Some ROOMS DO NOT HAVE Windows! If you get a window you don't necessarily get a view. Incredibly hot room (25 degrees in early April with outside temperatures about 14). There is no aircon. The fans are for heat, not cool. Slow check in.
Location and hotel generally good. Certainly good value for money.

United KingdomTo park the car was easy to pay for it was another story. It was so hard as the site kept crashing. Spent About an hour trying to pay for it. The room was so hot.It seemed to be stuck on 28.D. And as we was on. The eighth floor obviously couldn't open a window. Although the room was very clean, it was very shabby.Definitely needs updating. .
When we arrived, the receptionist was so lovely and friendly. The room was very large and clean. Upgraded by the receptionist which was lovely of her. Lovely bar area and The bar man was so attentive. Made the best cosmopolitan i've ever had.
