Bar too close to restaurant. Too many rowdy pub patrons who used four letter words. I could not take my girls to use the restaurant.

nice clean room, good location. good parking

Only issue was the expected evening meal was unavailable the night we stayed and if it matched the breakfast - it would have been excellent.

Room was spacious and bathroom was huge! Convenient for Eden Project, Charlestown, and Lost Gardens of Heligon so long as you don’t mind a short drive.

Location was good for Eden Project but not really near anything else. Drive out to nearest beaches. Our room was next to the main road, and traffic lights. Constant noise all night which made it difficult to sleep.

Clean, comfortable room and good breakfast. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Evening meal was good, typical pub menu.

    Breakfast was great.

Stayed here for a visit to the Eden project. The food was great and the room immaculate. The staff were really helpful and friendly, especially the landlord who organised a very last minute taxi for us. It is on a busy road but the traffic died down overnight and there is secondary double glazing to shut out any noise if necessary.

This place is perfect for the Eden Project. We were going to the Sessions, so needed somewhere close and easy access after midnight. The staff were friendly and helpful. The carpark was never full and the breakfast was great. We'll definitely go back.

The bathroom door latch was faulty and so the door couldn't be closed with out locking you in the bathroom! Lack of drinkable water (we did have the small bottles of water as substitute). Fan in room didn't work. Some cleanliness issues (toilet not flushed when we arrived, used cigarette filter in the baby cot) but otherwise felt well maintained.

Friendly staff, comfy beds, smart decor, convenient location, flexible times with check in etc, but also with going out in evening (vital as we were going to the Eden sessions). Ticked all the boxes really!

Only one space on site so the parking was next door in a public car park

Room was, big and airy it was clean the bathroom was nice n roomy it was hot whilst we were there and we were thankful the windows allowed a thro breeze. The main road runs straight past and was noisy a lot of the time. The staff were friendly and efficient the food was very good all in all we enjoyed our stay

Cornwall is clearly a little bit biased towards the rest of england . Which is quite boring . Yawn 🥱. For 1 example . The breakfast was either a full cornish breakfast or half an english breakfast , quite annoying to be honest.

    The breakfast was fine .

The room was comfortable and the property is well situated on the main crossroads in Bugle. There is a public car park where it is possible to park but there are not always spaces available. Staff were friendly and checked us in very quickly. We didn’t eat in the property on the evening we arrived as we had a family meal booked in St Austell but breakfast the following morning was very good.

This is in no way a moan, we knew when we booked it it was over a pub and we expected pub noise, we did not expect yapping dogs in the bar.... the bar noise DID NOT transfer upstairs very much at all.

The food was very nice, the room was large enough to be comfortable and wasn't cramped, the staff were very helpful and friendly.

The only negative was that there was live entertainment which was a heavy rock band, which kept us up untill about 11.30pm, not our taste of music, however we understand that the local community enjoyed it and we noticed that there is varied entertainment...despite the loud music we would highly recommend this Inn

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, it had a nice atmosphere, the food was exceptionally good value for money, we had breakfast included in the price, good quality food, the accommodation was dated but very adequate, comfortable bed with plenty of storage, spacious as we had a double room, would definitely return again...

Very limited car parking. About 10 spaces, we couldn't get a space on first night (first attempt), but squeezed into a space later that evening. This is the only potential deal breaker for us. We did stay over a bank holiday weekend, so busy. No options for pub to increase parking.

Stay over bank holiday weekend. Large family room, lovely fresh smelling room, very pet friendly. Shower was lovely! Pub food was simple and delicious, dogs allowed in bar. Staff very friendly. Pub very busy with locals, who were a little rowdy, but they were very friendly and polite to us. Created a fun atmosphere. I imagine Sunday evenings and weeknights are quieter. Location on main busy road, easy to find/access. Noisy road but this did not bother us even with the window open over night.
