The location is excellent, near the beach for a morning walk, close enough to Town and the Street Parking permit worked fine for us. Friendly host and a lovely breakfast to start the day

Small guest house in a quiet side street near the esplanade, but just a short walk from shops/bars/etc. I had a single room, small but big enough for 1 person. Clean and comfortable, with good wifi. I had to leave early, so did not have breakfast.

I was in the room downstairs & that had a separate toilet which was on the smaller side but still usable. Shower hanging shelves hung on the shower I would suggest this gets hung on the wall as trying to manoeuvre to reach my products was difficult.

Had a lovely stay at Burnside Guest house we were given a warm welcome by Paul. Bedroom was clean & bed super comfy. We were greeted by Paul in the morning & we opted for the full breakfast & WOW what a brilliant breakfast it was all fresh produce & the best black pudding I have EVER had 👌 only thing I would say was missing is baked beans but that would be a personal preference. Would definitely go back

The location was very handy for Prestwick airport and parking overnight was readily available and free. Very well maintained property, warm and inviting, as was the host. Interesting breakfast menu, plenty of choice. Paul, the host, was very helpful with our very late arrival time.

There could have been a few more amenities provided, eg slippers, different types of tea. The heating was also only on in the morning - it would have been nice for it to also be on in the evenings (particularly in October).

Good bed and breakfast on a quiet residential street, very close to Ayr Beach and only a few streets back from the town centre of Ayr. Paul was a good host and the breakfast room was lovely.

The mattress was a little sagging and spring noises were frequent, surprising for such a beautiful room.

The old world charm was excellent and the beautiful duvet was amazing!

I think the only things I could find any fault with was the door handle to the ensuite was a bit awkward to open - something which could be easily remedied. Perhaps, a slightly more powerful shower but the one there is adequate.

The location makes it an ideal base it is literally a stone's throw from the beach. The breakfasts were delicious. The ensuite in the room was pristine and in good condition.
