The rooms were clean, well furnished and comfortable. Our hosts were friendly and helpful with recommendations for local amenities. Our breakfasts were generous & delicious - absolutely spot on! It was a lovely stay, would definitely recommend.

Room was alot smaller than it looked in photo but it was cosy and loved wooden floors. Ensuite/ Bathroom fine but very outdated and could do with a refurb. Checkin time is very late at 4.30pm but you can arrange an earlier arrival in advance I was told. We would stat again but in a bigger room. Bedroom light just dont go with the style of the room.

Breckfast was fantastic, fresh farm products . Lovelly quality sausage, bacon and delicious black pudding. Rate breckfast at 10. Beautiful period property with lots of 17th century features. Bed was small ie double for us but super comfy mattress and it was so lovelly and quiet there so a great place for R and R.

It happened to have turned quite cold when we arrived in early April. The room was cold. In the blurb it told us that the heating was locked, so that put us off asking for more heat. The bathroom was very cold.

Our hosts were super. Really thoughtful and professional. The breakfast was good, nicely cooked. And the parking nice and easy. Love the area.

The hosts were very flexible about the check in time. We enquired the day before about dropping our things off, (motorbike riding gear) before the check in time. They said that would be fine but when we actually arrived, the room was ready for us to check in early, which was a huge benefit to us. The breakfast was excellent. Good quality ingredients freshly cooked to order.

A lovely character house, furnished with period pieces, an absolute delight to look around. The hosts have managed to strike a balance between keeping with the style of a lovely house, & providing modern extras for their guests (tea, coffee, kettle, a few bathroom essentials, a multi plug/usb port to charge our phones/watches etc) Very envious of such a lovely old house

Great location for walking into Ironbridge. The house is beautiful and the decor fitting for it's age. We had the biggest 4 poster bed we'd ever seen! En suite was clean and spacious. The room was exactly how I imagine it to be. Booked for my husbands birthday and requested a cake and a couple of bottles of local ale, and these were in the room when we arrived. Breakfast was delicious - we always rate the breakfasts by the quality of the sausage, and this sausage was superb. Very friendly and helpful hosts, and a happy little dog too.

Not much to criticise, just a little tired in places but nothing significant given the value for money.

Nice location, friendly host, good local pubs and a walkable distance to town. Decent breakfast in co comfortable surroundings.

The sink didn't hold water and getting warm water from the sink tap was difficult. The electric shower had a weak water flow.

Entrance had a slight smell of dog but wasn’t a problem for us personally.

Such a lovely old theme but not dark and dingy. Lovely hosts and breakfast! Perfect location with restaurants near by. A big thank you to James! We really enjoyed our stay at Calcutts :)
