Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

The location is fantastic, away from noise yet so close to the beach. Will definitely use it again, and I highly recommend it 👍 👌 😊

ArgentinaThe room was mid cleaning upon arrival (3pm). Not ideal when you´ve been travelling and need to chill for a sec before heading out again. After returning I was getting ready to take a bath, and finally relax when I realized there were no toiletries as promised. Annoying having to go out again to purchase something I could have brought from home. Sent a message asking and was utterly ignored. The mattress was very uncomfortable, it has like lumps from the springs or sth that are hard on the bones. A mattress topper would sort that. No bin bags or cleaning products (i.e. for the counter top) were there either.
Easy access to the beach, quiet area, very comfy sofa, good water pressure

United KingdomThe main room had a bad smell coming from I don’t know what, i think it was carpet’s smell but not sure. I was up very late due to that because I couldn’t stand it.
I really liked everything specially having two bathrooms. And also very spacious. I would recommend my friends specially the ones having pets.

United KingdomWe didn't like the fact that we could not connect to the WiFi due to not knowing the password. A welcome pack with all that information would be a fantastic idea. We also couldn't watch the tvs in the front room and the main bedroom. The tv in the front room had no signal even though it had an aireal on the roof. It was picking up no channels whatsoever, so no tv to watch there. There was no remote control for the tv in the main bedroom, so we couldn't even watch that one. It's not great if you're one to stay in, in the evenings watching tv. The only other gripe is the ironing board. It's so small. I actually got a backache from bending down to iron my clothes. It's like a toy ironing board. These are the only things that need sorting out. Other than that it was a very good holiday let.
The place was lovely, clean, and had everything you needed in a caravan. The double bed was comfortable. The shower in the cubicle was great with a decent pressure, although the hose was slightly leaking from where it attaches to the shower head. We really enjoyed staying here.

United KingdomLate getting the place ready. The site wasn't fully open so planned activities had to scrapped. No basic staples like tea and coffee etc. Even cheap hotels provide these.
A nice enough property in a static caravan resort. Well appointed, it even had an air fryer (not that we know how to use it) and woth only two of us staying one night, home cooking wasn't going to be an option. When we arrived early, the owner/cleaners were busy getting the place ready. Several hours later they were still doing so, so our 3pm check-in became nearer 4pm. No big deal as it was a nice sunny day and the lovely Camber Sands beaches were not too far away. We weren't made aware that some of the facilities would not be available on a Monday, which was the biggest bug-bear as we had planned to go swimming in the pool with grandchildren. Apparently only once the season is in full swing does the place, operated by Parkdean, fully open. So on this basis, I think the place is overpriced. Also, I would have thought that the owners could have provided some basic staples like tea and coffee and powdered milk etc. On a more positive side, the shower performed better than many 4 star hotels that we have stayed in. Some information on how to use the central heating might have been helpful. The nights are still chilly, so fumbling around with controls does not lighten the mood.

United KingdomNot much to dislike at all. Radiators were too hot in the bathroom (quite dangerous with little children) Did not discover any cafes or pubs in walking distance
Nice location. I was interested in seeing Camber Sands as a location for potentially purchasing a caravan. Amazing beach. site facilities are good but unsure if I would make use of them for my purpose for ownership. The caravan was very well equipped.

United KingdomIt would be nice to have a welcome pack with information regarding the resort as we were not aware we needed to purchase entertainment passes for some of the onsite activities.
Lovely location about a 10/15 min walk to the beach. Super clean and very comfortable. The patio was really cute. The house comes well equipped with things such as activities for kids , lots of games and beach equipment.

United KingdomSmall second bedroom. I would have liked to have checked in earlier than 3pm (but this is standard I guess). The front door key can be a little tricky. there is very little to criticise with SeaScape as it's a very good holiday home.
We wanted to stay on the ParkDean resort having stayed before and loved the proximity to Camber Sands beach. SeaScape was impeccably clean and for our one night stay had all the amenities we needed. The 2nd bedroom is very small (for 2 13 year olds) but for one night not a problem. The primary bedroom is spacious and very comfortable with an ensuite. The front deck has great furniture to enjoy the sunshine.

United KingdomInternet speed was a bit restricting, which was not a problem for me, checking the news and directions, but a friend found it insufficient to stream content. Still, with the TV and all available options there, she was happy with what we had and said she'd never stayed at a place with this many various bits provided for guests. Upon entering, we could smell there had been dogs staying at the accommodation. It was not overly strong, and was much less-noticeable after some cooking and keeping several windows cracked-open to let in more fresh air, and hardy noticeable by the time we left. It did not affect how much we enjoyed staying at Seascape Camber Sands, and we would definitely return if ever planning to stay in Camber again.
Great location - within a walking distance from the beach, the sand dunes, and quiet countryside paths. A short 10-15 minute drive from Rye. A great quiet place to relax and recharge. There is a small shop with all the essentials on-site too. The caravan feels like home - comfortable, clean, tastefully decorated with light-coloured furnishings and all the bits you might need - towels, extra blankets, kitchenware, cleaning supplies, some toys, games and books for young children, and a few books and DVDs for adults, and more. It feels very private with sheer curtains filtering light entering through many windows which make it feel more spacious, and there are blinds or curtains to darken the rooms so you can get more restful sleep. There are TVs in both bedrooms and the living room, and the kitchen has all the basic appliances. The place is dog-friendly, so we were amazed by the lack of dog hair on furnishings, carpets, etc. It had been cleaned to a very high standard. I enjoyed the animal-friendly vibe and several dog photos decorating walls too. The guest book was a nice personal touch too, and we enjoyed reading comments left by previous guests and also felt this was a home away from home. The caravan was so nice, cosy and comfortable that we really enjoyed our stay despite some stormy weather - it was a perfect peaceful shelter.

United KingdomDespite a communication breakdown with the host, as i have not heard from them, we bought a new duvet cover etc. However they were apologetic, and realised that they forgot to inform us information. Other than that, the host was so lovely. It is a shame that we had to buy passes through Parkdean, The host did let us know though.

BelgiumReally disappointed. I paid £138,09 for an accomodation that was so dirty that I couldn't even stay here. Instead I booked a hotel room. The accomadation simply wasn't cleaned from the previous guests, it had dirty towels and dirty bedding laying on the ground, garbage on the floor, and there was no clean towels nor clean bedding. I have been trying for over two weeks together with the customer service of Booking to get a refund, but the owner simply doesn't answer, so I end up paying for an accomodation I didn't stay in. I strongly recommend NOT staying here if you don't want to pay for an accomodation that doensn't comply with standard cleanliness of a place and an owner that ignores all your messages.
Nothing.
