Think there could have been a few more choices of food in restaurant (like a children’s menu) to make the stay more reasonable in cost. Drinks expensive £2 per can of soft drink is a bit much. There were no plugs next to beds which was a little inconvenient. Breakfast expensive.

Heating in bathroom would have been nice as I stayed at a cold time of year.

Reception staff changed a second floor room for a ground floor when I discovered there was no lift. Breakfast was good and I ate in the hotel most evenings. Prices were very fair as I follow a carb-free way of eating, and this was taken into account. Free parking is always something i appreciate when staying in hotels, so very happy.

The barman was rude and very obnoxious and really need's to review his customer service skills. A shame one stressed and generally rude individual tarnished what would have been a very enjoyable experience. And there was no information to inform you they don't take cash only card, possibly mention on booking!

It was clean and exceptional value for money. The reception staff was friendly, happy and very efficient. The cleaning staff we're extremely pleasant and nothing was too much trouble for them. Outstanding

Stayed two days. No one told me to put the label out if I wanted the room cleaned. No communication and there for the room was not cleaned

Lots of interesting characters hanging around at all times and even worse during the night. Noisy people and thin walls aren't a good mix. Smell of weed in the hall ways. this hotel does not attract decent clientele.

The hotel was cheap and the hotel staff were very accommodating and kind, they let us switch rooms with ease.

Our original room upon arriving , had a broken window handle , so couldn't shut it ! The towel holder in the bathroom was coming away from the wall . The second night of out stay, we were up all night with what seemed a party in several rooms , which finished at 3 am! On our 3rd morning we had a knock at our door, a unkempt young man saying he was collecting for children in need and when we asked he had no form of identity and ran from our room ! My point in this is , how was he even allowed in the hotel ? We reported it to the reception, who said they knew who he was ! As we were departing fo our day out we then sa him hanging around the bar area !

The room that we eventually got was clean and reception staff tried hard to solve our situation.

Bed was lumpy, the corridor smelt like cannabis the whole stay, the plug to pull up to make the shoes broke, we asked for it to be fixed but no one to help over the weekend. We were offered to move to a different room but we’d already settled. So everytime we needed a shower we had to use my tweezers to pull up the screw to make it work. It was so disappointing.

The bed and blanket. Blanket was super thin and i was cold all night. Could have had an additional blanket in the room, especially cause it’s March. Also only one pillow, could have used an extra pillow. I had an uncomfortable nights sleep. The room was missing a hair dryer. Utilities are a bit outdated but still do work.

Decent area, spacious, security with the 24/7 reception, great staff. Tea and coffee. Warm water. Bath and shower.

It is a low budget hotel. However it was very low budget! our room was tiny the bed was barely a foot from the wall, had to side step to get in it! Under the otherside of bed were missing carpet tiles under top end of bed and bedside shelf, it was filthy under there. One pillow each very old and flat, I have thicker sheets than the thickness or tog if the duvet which when pulled back I found crumbs in the bed. Two bath towels one very thin and tired not very effective to dry with, no hand towel. Stains and marks on the carpet which was in need of replacing even for budget it was bad.

Convenient location. Good staff Tea/coffee making facility, extra coffee sachets given on request no problem. Toiletry dispensers in room full.
