I found the bed a little hard but I appreciate that everyone has very different notions about what they consider is a comfortable bed and I understand that you can't please everyone.

Breakfast was really good and our host Mark was very friendly and welcoming. Our rooms were light and spacious.

There's not much to dislike. The parking is a minute's walk away - £5 for 24hours; but there's a useful layby for loading/unloading luggage.

Castle Hill is ideally situated in the centre of Lynton and was easy to find. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Mark was friendly and helpful and cooks a great breakfast to order.

No problem at all with the guest house but found getting a table in local restaurants difficult in the evenings so I would advise booking ahead.

All rooms were a very good size with plenty of space and views, good location for the local car park and 4-day pass with the use of other car parks was very good value.

Very comfortable room with great views from the windows. Great breakfast every morning, cooked to order and a good variety of options. The guest house is in a great location, easy to find with the public car park just a few yards away although uphill after parking up. We found it best to download the parking app to pay and top-up each day from the phone. You can buy longer permits from a shop in the town though apparently. The car park does get busy in the middle of the day so if you go out you may not find a space when you get back. It does get quieter later in the afternoon though and one you have paid for the day you don't have to pay again and daily purchases are valid for all Lynton and Lynmouth car parks (but not ones run by Devon Council) Mark the host was very helpful and gave great advice about the area. A walk down to Lynmouth is a must and a ride on the railway back up is recommended! Valley of the Rocks is within walking distance - if you are lucky you may see the wild mountain goats!

There was absolutely nothing we didn't like.

The hotel was lovely in a wonderful building in the middle af a small town, short walk to the Funicular Railway down to Lynmouth. Breakfast was amazing well done Mark keep up the very high standards.. Done the Julia Bradbury walk only to find out she didn't complete it 🤣🤣

The hills... Nothing about the venue was disappointing.

The location was lovely. We booked a suite with a balcony, which was spacious and the balcony offered a lovely view. Breakfast was lovely, and owners were very friendly.

There were issues with the strength of the TV reception but the normal channels worked well. There's not really anything not to like. Linton itself is very hilly so probably going to be difficult if you have a leg problem.

Excellent room with a balcony. Tea and coffee making in the room. Breakfast was excellent and catered well for vegetarians and vegans. The breakfast room had an honesty bar which was very useful. The guest lounge was spacious although underused. Check in was easy. The B & B was next to the lower carpark and £5/day and you can use the Ringo carpark App.

Can’t fault the property at all, it was an amazing location with lovely staff and information about the local walls and activities. We felt comfortable our entire stay and will look here first if we are in Devon again.

Being on top floor - 2 flights of stairs could be a problem for some people. Shower was very weak but that’s being picky

Location is great but in the evening there are very few places to eat. We find that we eat at lunch time and take snacks back for the evening.

Lovely guest house, friendly owner, lots of nice little touches, like fresh milk, lovely toiletries, a lounge and the cuddly goat on the bed!

Lovely bright room .excellent tasty breakfast . spotlessly clean and felt very safe as strict covid guidelines met .Host Mark was very attentive and friendly .very convenient location for some lovely walks .
