Shower was not the cleanest but still worked well

The free breakfast was nice and the location was fairly good and well connected to buses. Comfy beds and nice staff :)

No curtains in the bedroom just thin blinds, so when the sun came up early it was really light at 7am, no chance of a lie in. And due to the upgrade we lost the double bed and had 4 singles on 2 floors

Everything was fine, As mentioned, 8f things weren't right they were swiftly dealt with,. So all good.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They genuinely asked if everything was OK. and encouraged me to report if things were not right in the room and you were inconvenienced and moved me to an apartment and gave me a refund. This was a great service that I had never previously experienced. .

The carpet was stained and a bit dated. Minor issue but nevertheless it needs a new one.

Our room could do with a lick of paint and a new floor in the bathroom. Having just blinds on the windows meant it was very light in the morning, I personally don’t mind this however, some may prefer the added darkness curtains offer.

The staff were so lovely and kind, couldn’t do more for you. The main rooms are incredible, super old fashioned with some history. The sports bar downstairs is huge, a great place with superb atmosphere! The breakfast was a lovely touch, really enjoyed the selection. We were super cosy too!

The car park parking you can get blocked in due to the layout of the car park spaces.

The only thing was our bathroom was freezing, the radiator wasn’t working.

The lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful and gave us a upgrade to a larger room with an en suite bathroom which was very nice we also enjoyed the continental breakfast in the morning all the other staff who we interacted with where very friendly and helpful

Whilst the complimentary continental breakfast is appreciated the option to have a cooked breakfast would have been welcomed. Not really a criticism, more a thought perhaps to take on board for the owners?

Very friendly staff, no faff, straight forward experience. The room upgrade was a nice surprise and appreciated. Room was as expected with the added bonus of appliances should you need to wash clothes or keep anything in a fridge etc.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Reception staff was very welcoming, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was a nice addition. Good public transport access to the city centre. Would stay here again.

The parking area at the front is very small but there is plenty of room to park down the attaching side street

The shower wasn't too clean

The location was not too central but still easy to be reached. The guest house was very cosy and very typical English. The staff was welcoming, they even offered free breakfast during my staying.
