This properly was lovely and the perfect size for me. It had everything you could need for a long or short stay. The balcony was lovely, it overlooked the rest of the garden with a table and chairs to sit at. I sat and did some work under the umbrella in the sun and it was lovely. The owners were so helpful and kind. I was due to check in at 1900 but finished work early so went back to the property early. I forgot to call the owners to let them know but they were okay about it and sorted everything out for me. Ruth also suggested that instead of driving into work (BRI) and paying for fuel and parking, I could get the bus in and it would be cheaper. She helped me with the bus times and I would highly recommend doing this rather than driving in as it is so much cheaper and easier. There are two bus stops just a short walk (2-5 minutes) down the road which are very handy. The apartment was very clean, water pressure was perfect and the bed was very comfortable. Even tho it’s close to a main road, the area is quiet. There is a Lidl and Aldi about 15-30 minutes away (depending on traffic).

Lovely, light and clean. Beautiful view. Well appointed kitchen with everything we needed to cook well. Very comfy bed. Quiet location within good distance of M&S for sundries. We visited the Curzon cinema, which was a brilliant evening out and booked a local taxi, which was very straightforward. Highly recommend.

Exceptional Stay! I had a fantastic experience at this property! The place was immaculately clean and exceeded my expectations in every way. The owner, Ruth, has thoughtfully provided almost all the daily essentials, making our stay incredibly comfortable. What truly made our stay special was Ruth's exceptional hospitality. She's not only a great host but a wonderful person who genuinely cares about her guests. Her kindness and support throughout our stay were truly appreciated. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I return to the area. In fact, I would eagerly look forward to it! Ruth's property is a true gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a warm and welcoming place to stay. Rating: 5/5 stars

There was always warm water on demand so this is not a complaint but the shower didn't go hot enough in my opinion. It was a cold weekend and getting out of a warm shower wasn't enough to stop you getting pretty cold when you got out (and wiped it down with a squeegee). The bed was very soft which is probably nice for one adult but with two it sank to the centre a lot which wasn't great for my back. These are personal preferences though, and we would definitely love to return, just perhaps with our own large towels or robes to keep warm after showers.

Great location close to the m5 but only 20 mins into a really nice area of Bristol. It was very smart and extremely well equipped, clean, light and great views out of the back. I bet it's even better in nice weather (it was rotten when we stayed) as there's nice decking and an attractive garden out of the back patio doors. Friendly host who was prepared to go out of her way to make it an enjoyable stay for us including printing running maps of local routes. There were signs around to help you find or control things. The sofa was large and comfortable.

Please see my earlier review for details. I came back! That is a good indication of how happy I was at my previous stay. I knew exactly what to expect and was not disappointed. Particularly grateful for the extra care, support and patience for the inconvenience my being ill during my stay.

The work / dining space was a little small for my needs but adequate for most ordinary needs and purposes. The bathroom was a little cramped. There were one or two 'notices' about showers and some house rules which were just a little off putting initially but the helpfulness and support of the host more than overcame any initial discomfort on my part.

Excellent facilties in a home from home. Well equiped kitchen and a host that went out of their way to be helpful. Very comfortable lounge and bedroom and just the right size for one (or two) people. Lovely balcony and outside area which sadly weather didn't permit use of. I probably didn't get to enjoy it at its or my best due to it being very much a working and busy visit. Great for cooking in, large fridge (small freezer) and washing machine a huge bonus after lots of hotel stays. Lots of nice touches like some butter and milk plus other goodies on arrival (including a packet of biscuits!) One or two staples also in the cupboards. Great communication from the host to ensure everything was well before, during and even after my stay.
