Bathroom and fridge were filthy. This was mentioned to the staff who took offence and then proceeded to neglect servicing our room for several days. My bed had a spring poking out of the mattress which resulted in a small puncture wound to my hip - but again no point in complaining as reprisals would be dealt.

It's right on the train station so it was a bit noisy (but we knew that before arriving so took ear plugs). We asked for a twin but got a double. The rooms are all up multiple flights of stairs and we were on the top floor with very steep stairs, which might've been a problem for anyone with mobility issues.

Decent price. Basic but clean. We stayed here for a gig so it was OK for one night. Lots of bars, cafes and shops very near by.

Really noisy (having the train so close by has its benefits, but you hear it loudly whenever it passes) Rooms would need a renovation (the bedsheets etc. were changed, bathroom was cleaned too, but overall, stuff was quite dirty & worn out)

Didn’t expect much and it didn’t disappoint but it was quite noisy. Right on top of busy train tracks to one side and a busy road below. Shut the windows though and it wasn’t too bad

Look, it is what it is - you’re not paying top dollar so don’t expect the Ritz! Beds were comfortable, en suite was good and we slept well. Superb location - really basic room but had tea/coffee making facilities and en suite. Stayed there for a gig so was only there to sleep afterwards and had no issues!

Whilst great location for accessing tube, not so great for sleeping: think description could be a little more transparent, this is right next to overground tube line, never mind within 200ft! Don't be fooled into thinking all rooms are like pictured; booked a double but got twin beds pushed together, not quite the same. Very basic room; take shower gels/soap with you for shower as nothing provided apart from hand-wash for basin. Wouldn't say this was worth £99 a night even for London.

Location great for getting onto tube itself. Plenty of shops around. Staff member we did see was very pleasant and welcoming.
