Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomCheck in was a pain. Room booking was not working in system even though reception copuld see we had a booking. took 10-15 mins to sort out at the end of a long journey. Parking to unload bags was also a challange.
All fine. Only surprise was that the bed took up the whole width of the room so to get out of bed one person had to climb over the other.

Really comfy big bed with great view over the city. Great communal areas to hang out in. Breakfast was really good and staff were helpful. Great location, close to transport links (train and bus to airport)

United KingdomWas not told about how expensive the car park that's recommended is or the fact that if you drive into the area where the hotel is, it is a low emission zone and will get a fine for driving in if your vehicle does not meet the standards. The cost of food and drink in the hotel is very high. I had a cup of tea that cost nearly £4 but at every other hotel, tea and coffee tends to be free. There is a nisa shop across the road but again seems more expensive than other shops and doesn't have the best selection (yes, I get the hotel can't do much about that). When controlling the lights from the iPad, you cannot control each individual light or set of lights, it's pretty much all or none. You also can only control the TV with the iPad which is very clunky. You can use chrome cast to play what you want but again it's not the easiest to use
Very comfortable room with nice big bed. I like that everything is controllable from the iPad in the room. Check in process was very very easy and had staff on hand to help. The cost of the stay itself is very reasonable. Although we were not told about the hotel being inside the low emission zone, there is a cheap subway system a few minutes walk from the hotel. My advice would be to park outside of the LEZ and use the subway to get to the hotel.

United KingdomBreakfast too expensive and sadly not going to use the hotel again as no tea/coffee station. Even a basic kettle and no frills tea/coffee available would be a game changer for us.
We like the location, close to two choices of parking, easy to get to when jct 17 open. Not this weekend sadly but easy to get to via jct 18 too. Like the staff and the bar.

United KingdomThe 2 sets of blinds are funky and seem practical but there was still a gap which let in sunlight at the bottom which woke me up and prevented me from getting back to sleep. For this reason sadly I would not stay again.

United KingdomNo working hairdryer in the room. Went for breakfast at 9am and half the hot food wasn't ready and wouldn't be ready for another 10 minutes not ideal when you have other plans and booked breakfast for convenience so you could have breakfast then leave. Very overpriced £16 per head when all we ended up with was a croissant, fruit and a coffee.
It was modern and liked that everything could be controlled either from the tablet in the room or the app on your phone
