Check out staff was rude and knocked on door at 11:30 even though the check out is 11:30 to 12, the room was not the same as picture, damaged plug, bath room was basically a shower cubicle with a toilet in it and to finish it off the bed was not the comfortable.

    Nothing

The rooms and hotel look nothing like the photos online. The walls are thin and you can hear everything going on throughout the hotel. The bathroom was not as shown at all. The hotel insisted we left our keys with reception, I thought they would be kept somewhere safe but they were just left on the front desk unsecured.

    The room was clean

More of a hostel than a hotel. Wasn’t expecting shared bathrooms, luckily it wasn’t busy during our stay but if it was full I don’t see how they’d manage. It wasn’t dirty but hasn’t been well maintained, damp smell and water stains throughout.

It's basic simple basic room no view except for stocks of goods its like Calcutta in London friendly people basic English but I knew it before I went it's close to the West ham stadium

Its a low level sort of make shift hotel you get what you pay for rooms have thin walls and so as soon as some loud neighbour is awake and on his phone it means that the whole floor must wake up too bed was fine etc all was clean and tidy but it's not for single women

I got a room in the basement or celar with locked window. There's nothing outside to look at, maybe a wall since you are in the basement, but what I mean is, there are no ventilation. The room stinks disgustfully like hell of ash-tray. Like someone was smoking the whole year and as said window is locked and no ventilation. The less than 1m² toilet with built-in shower has at least an exhaust air - this doesn't help to get fresh air. The room is just a large ash-tray. Normally I would review with one star, but because it's cheap, two stars.

Well, first of all, this what it's called a hotel, is one of the cheapest in London, 50£ or so (March 2023). If you are looking for a cheap stay regardless of service or room amenity, then this is for you, otherwise try to forgo this hotel.

There was a large step leading to the very tiny bathroom. My joints are stiff and I did have a bit of difficulty. The light fitting in the bathroom had obviously broken and was repaired by attaching a wire from the mains to the old fitting and a bulb was attached which hung down from the ceiling far too close to the sink. I'm sure it was a safety hazard. I was in room 103. I also had to tune in the TV myself as it was untuned

    It was warm

The rooms, especially the shower needs cleaning and a restoration badly. The sky receiver is old and therefore loud, so it has to be put off power at night. There was no hairdryer at first, all the door locks are broken or close to it. They feel unsafe and easy to break. Some furniture was installed the wrong way, for example one shelf was ready to fall off the wall. The power sockets were not all functional or made suspicious sounds when plugging something in.

It felt like no one really cares about making the place nice or feels motivated to do more than the bare minimum . The showerhead was broken, the mattresses and sheets smelled clean but looked very used. There was a thick layer of dust under the beds. The kitchen downstairs is very dirty, we washed anything we used before using it.

I liked that I was able to find something very last minute. It's also cool that there is someone at the reception or near by at all hours. The guys we met at the reception were nice and helpful The area was quiet for sleeping at night The bus number 8 is near by There was a functional kitchen downstairs with some silverware and other stuff we could borrow. There was a fridge and a water boiler in the room.

Creaky beds each time you moved. Two toilets up a set of stairs to ground floor. Bathroom on 2nd floor… guess shared by all. Noisy.

It did what was expected, a room for the night with a attendant on the reception. Market outside, plenty of shops nearby. Visit Fiesta Cafe, great choices.. breakfast, lunch and dinner. Tv and WiFi provided. Kettle and clean fridge too.
